Primeval Jungle,
Eliette led Li Feng's troops to a lake in a jungle. According to Eliette, this was their Aeldari base on this planet.
From a distance, Li Feng saw a massive white ring and an Aeldari Webway platform made of white stone beside the lake. The scene by the lake was beautiful and mysterious, and the air seemed to be filled with a faint glow, showcasing the elegance and profundity of Aeldari technology.
Li Feng gazed at the gigantic white ring. This was the Webway platform the Aeldari used to travel between stars. It was constructed from exquisite white stone, its smooth surface reflecting a faint blue light, as if some energy was surging within it.
Eliette gestured for Li Feng to remain silent and explained, "This is the portal that connects our Aeldari with other planets. It can both open and hide, and it is through these Webways that we Aeldari have been able to continue."
Li Feng merely nodded, "Hmm, I've been inside before."
Yvraine's face was a picture of confusion, "How did you get in?"
"Do you know Yvraine of the Death God Army? She and her simp took me in. I even invited them to the palace to have dinner with the Emperor and discuss cooperation between our two races."
Eliette was utterly disbelieving upon hearing this. She grabbed Li Feng's hand, "Are you telling the truth?"
A hint of imperceptible excitement and doubt flickered in Eliette's eyes. She clearly hadn't expected Li Feng's experiences to far exceed her understanding of humans.
She stared at Li Feng, her expression complex, "The relationship between humans and Aeldari has never been so close. If that's the case, your existence might be fate's design."
Li Feng merely shrugged lightly, a hint of fearlessness in his eyes, "Perhaps, but since we've come here, cooperation is the better choice."
The Webway by the lake hummed faintly in the breeze, as if responding to their conversation. Meanwhile, Fides was already "burnt out," watching Li Feng and the alien's ambiguous words and actions. She was tired.
Eliette said, "Alright, you all wait here. I'll go find Mourlan."
"Can you go alone? I see some rebels there."
"This is a matter between our own people."
With that, Eliette walked towards the Aeldari creation. Li Feng looked back and found Reinhard, who was currently staring at the sky.
"Stop pretending you didn't see anything. Go call for the helicopter and prepare for an armed assault."
As he spoke, Li Feng patted the shoulder pad on Fides's shoulder, signaling her to follow. Fides knew that Li Feng's recent action said it all, because he would unhesitatingly entrust his back to her.
Fides gripped her Bolter and followed Li Feng, catching up to Eliette's pace... Eliette's long-legged boots splashed in the shallow water by the lake as she walked to stand before the rebels. When the rebels saw that the newcomer was an Aeldari, they naturally lowered their weapons.
Soon, the Aeldari structure's Webway emitted a blue light, and the Webway opened under an unknown force. Several Ark Aeldari, dressed in Aeldari attire, emerged from the Webway.
At this moment, several Aeldari stood 50 meters from Eliette, and the Aeldari in the middle, holding a staff, took a step forward. Eliette immediately shouted:
"Mourlan! You must explain this matter clearly! The great danger threatening this world lurks here, and you should have seen its traces in your prophecies! It is The Thirsting Lady! Why did you conceal this from me?! Answer me! Did you or did you not see our terrible enemy?!"
No sooner had Eliette finished speaking than the Aeldari guards behind Mourlan began to stir. They scrutinized their leader, for hearing the name of The Thirsting Lady was no small matter for any Aeldari.
Mourlan, holding the staff, tilted his head, looked at the surrounding guards, and quieted them. Then, he looked at the furious Eliette before him and said:
"Eliette the Wanderer, you have betrayed the path we set for you, bringing strange mon-keigh to our sanctuary!"
Hearing "mon-keigh," she immediately turned to look and saw Li Feng and the white-haired female ape following behind her. Eliette looked at the two standing behind her, then turned her head back to Mourlan:
"My Wanderer's Path is a path I chose myself. Far beyond the high walls of Crudalach, I saw and understood things that the Aeldari hiding within the Ark will never see in their entire lives! Why do you deny the existence of The Thirsting Lady? Did you lie when you explained the path to us?"
As she spoke, Eliette turned around and pulled Li Feng's sleeve, much like introducing a boyfriend to parents, bringing Li Feng closer:
"This human possesses the ability to resist the Warp, and he also made me see many things. Without him, I might have been deceived by your words about fate..."
Hearing Eliette's words, Mourlan let out a scoffing sound:
"Hmph! A mon-keigh can reveal a path? Don't be ridiculous! mon-keigh only bring suffering and strife! Whether in our era or other eras..."
Li Feng also muttered softly, "I wonder who started the Silver Party that brought forth the Eye of Terror..."
Upon hearing this, Eliette instinctively lowered her head in shame. Indeed... originally, the Warp was peaceful, until the Aeldari partied and brought Slaanesh into existence, causing the Aeldari homeworld to directly become the Eye of Terror, and from then on, the Warp was no longer calm.
Mourlan thought Eliette had lowered her head, intimidated by him, so he took a step closer, his tone full of menace:
"You abandoned the Crudalach Ark in our darkest hour to satisfy your arrogance. You came here, and I accepted you as one of us. I even once again pointed out the path for you... And you! Eliette the Wanderer! How dare you insult me, insult a Seer!"
"I am a child of Asuryan, Mourlan. You claim to be the voice of fate, but I am not a plaything of fate's hand! My path is to fight the true enemy, not to eradicate all mon-keigh! If things truly reach an irreversible point... I will stand with them, because this man holds the possibility of changing the Aeldari's destiny!"
Eliette's eyes gleamed with anger as she grabbed Li Feng's hand, intertwining their fingers... Oh, this! Li Feng immediately froze, "Big sister? What are you doing?"
And the next second, Fides stepped forward and took Li Feng's other hand, saying shyly:
"I will also stand with you!"
The rebels and the Aeldari were instantly frozen in awkwardness. Countless gun barrels emerged from all around, pointing at the rebels and the Aeldari. Indeed, Reinhard had led the Soldiers to surround the area, and suddenly, the rebels and Mourlan's group dared not move.
Then the Soldiers shouted, "Lord Li Feng! We also stand with you!"
...Soon, the rebels were forced to their knees by the Soldiers at the lakeside for a mass execution, while Mourlan and the Aeldari guards were tied up and knelt in the center of the stone slab in front of the Aeldari Webway.
Li Feng, accompanied by Reinhard, now stood before Mourlan. His helmet had long since been pulled off by a Soldier, revealing his gaunt face.
"mon-keigh, your nature will never change!"
Upon hearing this, Reinhard stepped forward and slapped Mourlan across the face. Li Feng looked at Reinhard's action, a little surprised... while the female Soldiers immediately blushed, wishing they too could be slapped by the handsome blonde Boy... Li Feng now held Reinhard back, "Little Rein, don't rush."
With that, Li Feng's hand reached for Reinhard's waist, pulling an Imperial Bolter revolver from his holster. Then he came before Mourlan:
"Since you are a Seer, let me ask you, can you predict if you will be shot today?"
Li Feng aimed the gun at Mourlan's head. The Aeldari guards immediately shouted at Eliette, who was behind Li Feng and seemed a little conflicted:
"How dare you mon-keigh treat a Seer like this! You've gone too far! Eliette, talk some sense into this mon-keigh!"
Eliette, however, turned her head away. Li Feng looked at Mourlan, who was meeting his gaze, "Seer, I ask you, will you?"
Mourlan swallowed, "No..."
Li Feng directly shot Mourlan in the calf, the bolter round instantly breaking the Aeldari's slender leg... "Ah ah ah ah ah ah!" Mourlan screamed in pain, collapsing to the ground.
Li Feng returned the gun to Reinhard, turned, patted Eliette's shoulder, and walked towards the helicopter, "See, feudal superstition is useless, and your Aeldari Seers are just like that..."
Watching Lord Li Feng and Lord Li Feng's... suspected Aeldari girlfriend leave, Reinhard felt he had learned something new and smiled.
Then Reinhard, holding the gun, walked up to Mourlan and once again aimed at Mourlan, who was writhing in pain on the ground:
"Seer, let me ask you, can you predict if you will be shot again?"
Mourlan gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, and glared at Reinhard, "Uh... yes..."
Another gunshot, and Reinhard broke Mourlan's other leg, "Accurate!"
The pain and humiliation of being "played by a mon-keigh" made Mourlan roll on the ground, roaring, "You brute! I curse you all! Eliette and that mon-keigh will die a terrible death! ! ! ! ! (Aeldari expletive)"
As Mourlan writhed in pain on the ground, several shadows surrounded him. They were Astra Militarum Soldiers with bayonets, and they pointed to the tied-up Aeldari guards:
"Seer, let us ask you... can you predict if they will be stabbed to death by bayonets?"
