The big bear was adorable and accommodating, but the small bear wasn't that easy to please.
"I'm sorry, Princess..."
"Hmph!"
"Look, we even bought your favourite cream puffs," Eugene raised the sweet smelling colorful box in his hand. "All chocolate and strawberry creams."
"Hmph!" Hannah crossed her arms. "Do Papa and Daddy think I'm still a child?"
Well...you are—but that would probably make this situation worse. They thought everything would be fine when they returned the next morning, even leisurely having a nice breakfast outside and waiting until the cream puffs store opened so they could buy some for their daughter. After all, Hannah had always been accepting that her parents would disappear suddenly for a night or two sometimes.
And yet, what awaited them was an angry girl who waited for them as if they were teenagers sneaking out at night.
"It was only one night," Eugene argued.
