While his dad was enjoying an afternoon reading the letter from his old-school beau, Eugene was having another regular check-up.
Compared to his previous pregnancy, when he didn't even realize it because he didn't have a noticeable bump even after four months, this pregnancy was a whole different experience. From the bad morning sickness to the more noticeable bump, Eugene's body screamed pregnant right from the start.
"Well, you are carrying two fetuses, Eugene," the doctor chuckled. "If it's the same size as before, you have a whole different thing to worry about."
"Well...that's true," Eugene stared at his stomach. Gone was his defined abdominal muscles. Now he looked like he had just finished a big eating competition and ate five kilograms of food—maybe more.
Wait...had he checked his weight these days?
"But seeing this size, it means you're on the right track," the doctor said, fixing the screen so Eugene could see it better. "You could see the shape better now, right?"
