Sengoku gritted his teeth.
"Damn it!"
He roared, and a golden light exploded around his body.
"I can't let him catch up to Sakazuki!"
Sengoku transformed into a Great Buddha and pursued Garp.
But Garp was too fast.
So fast that he couldn't catch him.
"Damn it..."
Sengoku gritted his teeth.
Meanwhile.
Akainu had already crawled out of the rubble.
His face was pale, and blood constantly dripped from the corner of his mouth.
Several ribs in his chest were broken, and his internal organs were severely injured.
But in his eyes, a furious rage still burned.
"Garp..."
Akainu growled through gritted teeth.
"You traitor..."
He struggled to stand up.
But just then—
An unprecedented sense of crisis struck.
Akainu suddenly looked up.
He saw a green stream of light rushing towards him at an incredible speed.
The speed... was so fast that he couldn't react at all.
"When did he—"
Akainu's pupils suddenly contracted.
The next second.
Garp's figure appeared before him.
Emerald green steam surged around his body.
Lightning crackled on his fists.
"Game on, kid."
Garp grinned.
"This time..."
His fist smashed fiercely towards Akainu's face.
Garp's fist stopped in front of Akainu.
The force of the punch tore through the air, emitting a piercing shriek.
Akainu's face was distorted by the violent airflow, and streaks of blood appeared on his skin.
He stared intently at the fist so close to him.
The emerald green steam and lightning wrapped around the fist radiated a destructive aura.
But Akainu didn't close his eyes.
In his eyes, a crazed killing intent still burned.
"Heh..."
Garp suddenly laughed.
The laughter was deep, carrying a hint of madness.
"Looks like you haven't learned your lesson."
Akainu gritted his teeth, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
"Don't look down on me!"
"This old man..."
His voice was hoarse.
"This old man is an Admiral!"
"I am an enforcer of justice!"
"You traitor..."
He wanted to say more.
But Garp had already lost patience.
"Stop! Garp!"
Sengoku's roar came from afar.
The golden Great Buddha figure descended from the sky, its giant palm transforming into a shockwave that struck Garp from a distance.
That power was enough to shatter mountains.
But Garp didn't even look.
He just raised his other hand and waved it back.
Boom—!
The emerald green airwave was like a tangible entity, instantly dispersing Sengoku's shockwave!
The golden energy exploded in the air, transforming into countless light particles and dissipating.
Sengoku's figure paused in mid-air, his face changing drastically.
How could this be?!
So easily... Garp turned his head and looked at Sengoku.
There was no emotion in those eyes.
Only coldness.
"Sengoku."
His voice was very soft.
"You're too late."
As his voice fell.
Garp looked at Akainu again.
His smile turned cold.
"The game is truly over."
Akainu's pupils suddenly contracted.
He wanted to dodge.
But his body could no longer move.
Although Garp's previous punch didn't land, the force of the punch had already shattered his internal organs.
He was only standing now purely on willpower.
Garp didn't use his fist.
He slowly raised his foot.
That foot, wrapped in emerald green steam and lightning, was raised high like a battle-axe.
Akainu instinctively raised his arms, crossing them over his head.
Lava surged wildly in front of him, forming a thick shield.
"It's useless."
Garp said indifferently.
The next second.
His foot chopped down fiercely!
"Die!"
Boom—!!!
The moment that foot landed, the air was compressed to the extreme, emitting a deafening roar.
The lava shield was instantly shattered!
Fragments splattered, turning into a rain of fire in the air.
Next were Akainu's arms.
Crack—!
The sound of bones breaking was clearly audible.
Akainu let out a tragic scream, his arms twisted at an unnatural angle.
But Garp's foot didn't stop.
It continued to descend.
And stomped heavily on Akainu's face!
Rumble—!!!
Marineford Plaza shook violently.
The ice surface cracked, and seawater surged back.
A huge footprint crater appeared before everyone's eyes.
The crater was tens of meters deep, its edges covered with cracks.
Akainu lay at the bottom of the pit.
His face was no longer recognizable.
Blood mixed with lava flowed from his seven orifices.
His body twitched a few times before he completely passed out.
The entire battlefield fell into dead silence.
Everyone's eyes were wide, their mouths agape enough to fit an egg.
They looked at the deep pit.
Looking at the unrecognizable figure at the bottom of the pit.
Their minds were blank.
An Admiral... stomped into the ground with one kick?
"Sakazuki..."
A Marine soldier stammered.
"Admiral..."
He swallowed, unable to utter the rest of his sentence.
Kizaru scratched his head.
"Truly..."
He muttered softly.
"Terrifying."
Aokiji silently looked at the deep pit.
"Garp-san... you really..."
"Garp!!!"
Sengoku's roar broke the silence.
The golden Great Buddha figure descended from the sky, crashing heavily on the edge of the deep pit.
The Great Buddha, in Sengoku's form, knelt at the edge of the pit, looking down at the unconscious Akainu at the bottom.
The golden Buddha body trembled violently.
He looked up, staring intently at Garp.
Those eyes were filled with anger.
And powerlessness.
"You..."
Sengoku's voice trembled.
"Why did you go to such an extent..."
Garp didn't answer.
He just slowly retracted his foot.
And looked down at his body.
Cracks appeared on his skin.
Those were the side effects of activating Eight Gates.
Blood seeped from the cracks, quickly staining his clothes.
But Garp didn't care at all.
He laughed wildly, looking up at the sky.
"Hahahaha—!"
His laughter shook all of Marineford.
"Awesome!"
Garp laughed loudly, his gaze sweeping over Sengoku.
Sengoku gritted his teeth, wanting to say something.
But in the end, nothing came out.
He just lowered his head, looking at Akainu at the bottom of the pit.
The golden light slowly dimmed.
Garp turned around.
Emerald green steam surged around his body.
His gaze passed over Sengoku, over the Marine soldiers.
Finally landing on Whitebeard in the distance.
Whitebeard was standing there.
One hand holding Ace, the other gripping his bisento.
His wrinkled old face was filled with complexity.
Their gazes met in the air.
A moment later.
Whitebeard suddenly smiled.
"All forces, retreat!"
Whitebeard's order exploded across the battlefield.
On the Moby Dick, all the pirates erupted in earth-shattering cheers.
"Pops is mighty!"
"Ace is saved!"
"We won!"
Marco flapped his wings and soared, the blue Phoenix flames drawing a magnificent arc in the sky.
"Everyone listen!" His voice echoed across the entire battlefield. "Retreat according to plan! Pirate crews board the ships in order!"
Jozu smashed the ice in front of him with a punch, his diamond-like body shining in the sunlight.
"Quick! Move faster!"
The Whitebeard Pirates' commanders quickly sprang into action.
Vista brandished his twin swords, cutting down several light beams shot by Kizaru.
"Don't even think about pursuing us!"
"Cover the others' retreat!"
Whitebeard stood at the bow of the Moby Dick, the wound on his chest still bleeding.
But his eyes remained sharp.
He watched the pirates running towards the ships, a smile playing on his lips.
"Gurararara..."
"My sons, it's time to go home."
