Okay. That was officially the weirdest night of my life. And that was saying something, considering I had been kidnapped from stupidity, almost assassinated, accidentally became a hero, derailed the fate of an entire realm, and apparently offended cosmic balance just by existing.
But no. Nothing. Nothing topped the fact that a literal goddess named Novella had appeared inside the royal guest chamber of Nothingwood Kingdom like she owned the place, which technically, she did. I stared at my reflection in the mirror earlier that morning and groaned.
Eyebags. Dark. Heavy. Offensive. The kind of eyebags that said this woman has seen things she cannot legally explain.
Wait until High Priest Choco and High Mage Hector know this.
