Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Mastered Ultra Kio Ken Instinct Versus Beerus Last Stand

The clash began like a storm breaking across the universe.

Beerus shot forward first, his body a streak of deep purple energy. He aimed a claw strike straight for Goku's throat—fast enough to cut space itself. But Goku's silver hair glowed brighter. His body moved on its own. Without thinking, without planning, he leaned back just enough. Beerus's claws sliced through empty air, missing by a hair.

Goku's fist snapped out in return. It hit Beerus square in the chest. The Destroyer slid backward through the sky, surprised. A small crack appeared in the ground far below from the shockwave alone.

Beerus laughed. It was a low, dangerous sound. "Not bad, monkey. Not bad at all."

He vanished. One moment he was there—the next he was behind Goku, swinging a knee toward the back of his head. Goku's instincts kicked in again. He twisted mid-air, caught Beerus's leg under one arm, and threw him downward with all his strength.

Beerus crashed into the blue planet like a falling star. The impact made a new crater hundreds of miles wide. Mountains collapsed. Oceans boiled away in seconds. The whole world shook so hard that pieces of it broke off and floated into space.

Goku dropped down after him, silver aura calm and steady. He landed softly in the center of the new crater. Dust swirled around him like a slow tornado.

Beerus rose from the rubble. His fur was singed in places, but his smirk never left his face. "Kaio-ken on top of Ultra Instinct… You're really pushing it, aren't you? Your body must be screaming."

Goku wiped a thin line of blood from his lip. "It hurts… a lot. But I can still fight."

Beerus cracked his neck. "Then let's see how long you last."

Purple energy exploded around him again—stronger this time. Hakai energy mixed with raw destruction power. The air turned heavy, like breathing poison. Anything close to Beerus started to break apart molecule by molecule—rocks, dust, even the light seemed to bend and fade.

Goku didn't back away. His silver eyes stayed calm. His body flowed like water. He stepped forward through the deadly aura. Every time Beerus swung, Goku moved just enough to dodge. Every time Beerus fired a blast of Hakai, Goku slipped around it or deflected it with open palms.

They traded blows faster than eyes could follow.

A punch from Beerus cracked Goku's ribs.

A kick from Goku sent Beerus spinning into a mountain range.

Beerus fired a sphere of purple destruction.

Goku met it with a silver Kamehameha wrapped in red Kaio-ken flames. The two attacks pushed against each other. The planet screamed louder. Cracks spread across its surface like broken glass. Chunks the size of countries floated away into the void.

Beerus pushed harder. "You think this little trick will beat me?!"

Goku's voice came back steady. "I don't know… but I'm not giving up."

The energy clash grew brighter. It lit up the whole solar system. From Beerus's planet, the watchers could see it clearly—a shining point of silver and purple fighting in the distance.

Back on Beerus's world…

Whis tilted his head. "Oh my. Goku is actually forcing Lord Beerus to use more than half his power. This is rare."

Gohan clenched his fists. "Come on, Dad…"

Vegeta crossed his arms, eyes narrow. "That idiot… mixing Kaio-ken with Ultra Instinct. His body can't handle it forever. He's going to burn out."

Broly watched in silence. His own power stirred inside him, reacting to the fight on the screen. "Strong… both of them."

Piccolo stood nearby, arms folded. "Goku's control is better than ever. But Beerus is a God of Destruction. One mistake and it's over."

The planet they fought on could not take much more.

Half of it was already gone. The core glowed red-hot through the cracks. Lava poured out like blood. The sky turned black with ash and storm clouds.

Beerus suddenly stopped pushing. He pulled his energy back. The purple sphere shrank and vanished.

Goku's Kamehameha faded too. He stood there breathing hard. Sweat ran down his face. The red Kaio-ken aura flickered like a dying flame.

Beerus floated closer. "You're reaching your limit, Saiyan. I can feel it. Your heart is pounding too fast. Your muscles are tearing. Even Ultra Instinct can't protect you from yourself."

Goku smiled weakly. "Maybe… but I still have one more thing to try."

Beerus raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Goku closed his eyes for a second. When he opened them again, the silver stayed—but something changed. The red Kaio-ken aura didn't just wrap around him anymore. It sank inside. Deep inside. His silver hair glowed with hints of crimson at the edges. His eyes flashed red for a split second, then silver again.

The ground under him cracked in a perfect circle.

His power jumped. Not wild. Controlled. Focused.

Beerus felt it. His smirk faded for the first time. "What… is this?"

Goku spoke softly. "I figured it out. Ultra Instinct isn't just about moving without thinking. It's about feeling everything… and controlling it. Even Kaio-ken. I don't need to push it on the outside anymore. I can pull it inside… and make it part of me."

Beerus stared. Then he laughed—real laughter this time. "You monkeys never stop surprising me."

He raised one hand. A small purple ball formed in his palm. But this one was different. It pulsed slowly. Quiet. Deadly. "Very well. Let's end this properly. Hakai… full power."

The ball grew. It swallowed light. It pulled in broken pieces of the planet. It felt like the end of everything.

Goku took a deep breath. He raised both hands. Silver and red energy gathered between them—not a wave, not a beam. A sphere. Pure. Calm. Angry. Perfect.

"Silver… Kaio-Kamehameha!"

He pushed forward.

Beerus threw his Hakai ball.

The two attacks met in the middle.

For one long second, nothing happened.

Then the universe went white.

Light brighter than a thousand suns exploded outward. The broken planet shattered completely—turned to dust in an instant. Shockwaves raced across space, knocking asteroids off course, shaking distant worlds.

On Beerus's planet, the holographic image flickered and died for a moment. Everyone held their breath.

When the light faded…

Beerus floated in empty space. His clothes were torn. One arm hung limp. Blood dripped from his mouth. But he was still standing.

Across from him, Goku knelt on a floating chunk of rock—the last piece of the dead planet. His silver hair had turned back to black. The red Kaio-ken was gone. His gi was in shreds. Blood covered most of his body. He could barely lift his head.

Beerus floated over slowly. He looked down at Goku.

"You… actually made me bleed. Twice in one fight. That's new."

Goku looked up. He tried to smile. "Heh… did I… win?"

Beerus snorted. "Don't push it. You forced me to get serious. That's more than anyone else has done in a long time. But win? No. Not yet."

He reached down and grabbed Goku by the front of his torn gi. Lifted him easily.

Goku didn't fight back. He was too tired.

Beerus stared into his eyes. "You keep getting stronger, Saiyan. Every time I think I've seen the limit… you break it again."

He let go. Goku dropped gently onto the floating rock.

Beerus turned away. "I'm done playing for today. But don't think this is over. Next time… I won't hold back at all."

Purple energy wrapped around him. He vanished in a flash.

Goku lay there, staring up at the stars. His breathing was slow. Pain filled every part of him. But he smiled anyway.

"Next time… I'll be even stronger."

Far away, on Beerus's planet, the hologram came back on. They saw Goku alone in space, alive but beaten.

Gohan let out a long breath. "He's okay…"

Vegeta turned away. "Tch. Idiot pushed too far again."

Whis smiled softly. "Lord Beerus looked… pleased. That's rare."

Broly stood up slowly. "I want… to fight him too. Someday."

Piccolo nodded. "We all do."

In the empty space, Goku closed his eyes. He thought about his family. His friends. All the strong people waiting for him.

"I'll rest a little… then train again."

He laughed weakly to himself.

"Man… what a great fight."

And somewhere deep in the universe, Beerus sat on his world, licking a small cut on his lip.

He smiled.

"Keep growing, Goku. Because when you're ready… I'll destroy you for real."

The stars watched in silence.

Two warriors. One goal.

To be the strongest.
