Chapter 6 - ~• Possibly Impossible ~•

Nikil's POV

" Itna santa kyu hai bhai"..... Rohit said as we were going through the study materials of the case." This case is crystal clear as it appears," Roohi state as she attentively going through the study materials.

Sometimes what we see isn't the truth always.. I said when I noticed a significant detailed in the study material it's stated that

" Mukul never drinks." Then what made him drink that day I said to the team ". Dealer at a nightclub maybe some friend forced him to drink because it happens and according to the case the family was being spotted after the accident and everybody's assuming that the accident caused it but they didn't have a postmortem that sounds very fishy," said Mahi. " According to the materials we didn't have much information about the family just that they were three people And now the only left person in their family is the old lady who is Bhuwan Rajpal's mother who also reported that day three were murdered. " I said. This this case is appearing as crystal clear as possible but this is the main issue.

As we were all going through the study material and making notes through it.

" Mahi " Priyan walked towards her.

So, anything that can protect are client from this case? He asked. Sir the main issue is that this case is as crystal clear that it shouldn't be that if our client Mukul was seriously drunk and he has eligibly murdered with three members of the family then why would he call the police at the first place he would have run away but he did call".

Later the postmortem was also not taken place so it may seem that somebody's trying to frame them in this case I have got some loopholes and I would like to discuss it with you" she said as she walked towards the gate to go outside.

" Isn't Mahi soo intelligent?" Rohit said.

She was always smart since college she was the topper and one of the most intelligent person I have ever came across she's brilliant at her job from college as she was talking and noticed something she has changed.

As she was talking to Priyan..... the morning light from the tall glass window catching the edges of her features. Her hair, once wild and loose, was now pulled back into a sleek low bun that made her look older than her twenty-six years. A few soft strands escaped near her temples, brushing against her cheeks whenever she nodded.

She wore a fitted black blazer that matched the seriousness of the office, the fabric outlining the subtle curve of her shoulders as she leaned forward slightly to listen. Her white shirt, crisp and neatly pressed, made her look composed and impossibly put-together. A thin silver chain glimmered against her collarbone each time she breathed.

There was a quiet sharpness to her face now—a more defined jawline, eyes that had grown deeper and steadier. As she spoke, her lips moved with a firm, measured confidence, the kind that only came from years of learning when to hold her ground. Her posture remained straight, poised, almost graceful, as if she had found a balance between discipline and calm.

Her hands rested lightly on the folder she was carrying, slender fingers tapping softly in a practiced rhythm while she explained the case update. Even in that simple moment, there was something unmistakably mature about her—something that hadn't been there five years ago.

To anyone watching, she looked like a woman who knew exactly where she was headed, every line of her appearance reflecting the quiet strength she had grown into.

She has really changed but don't I see her The girl I fell in love with.

We are not talking much but the silence feels great than the absence of her in the past 5 years. I don't want her by my side but strangely it's feeling good I hate her did I ever lie to myself that I don't like to be around her.
