Tier 1 spells usually affect a small area, with a weak effect.

Tier 2 spells have a varied area (usual around 2-15 feet of radius.) And have a slightly stronger effect.

Tier 3 spells: Are stronger. Usually can kill someone without protection.

Tier 4 spells: Are basically small town level in capabilites, but struggle against certain monsters. Most spells that can create or reanimate are in this category.

Tier 5 spells: Large city level. These spells can kill a sturdy creature like a Toxodile in a hit. (Foreshadowing), these and tier 6 spells can't be countered.

Tier 6 spells: These spells range from city level up to moon level. Some of these spells can be used to travel through time, or even create legendary weapons.

Magic item tiers.

Tier 2: The average magic item. Weapons have a minimum of this tier.

Tier 3: these magic items have strong effects. Usually magic items of this tier are found in temples.

Tier 4: where magic items are rare. Some of these can range from endgame weapons to totems of undying esque things.

Tier 5: These items are extremely rare, and powerful. Some items can split mountains, whole the peak of tier 5 power can destroy the capital in one action.

Tier 6: Warning, no magic items of this tier have been discovered yet.
