Floor 40
10 days earlier:
Masaro stood before the King of Floor 40 along with four of his companions.
The Floor King's HP was almost depleted.
But Masaro was exhausted, and his companions had no energy left.
Saya tried to approach Masaro and the wounded members, but the monster noticed her and smashed her with its fist.
Blood burst from Saya's mouth as she slammed into the wall and fell to the ground.
Masaro was enraged by the sight. He tried to get up, but he couldn't move.
"Move… damn it, damn it, move!"
Suddenly, a green aura appeared around Masaro and his companions.
It was Saya's magic…
With all her strength, Saya transferred every bit of energy and magic she had to Masaro and the others.
They were revived, but in exchange, Saya collapsed unconscious, covered in wounds and blood.
Masaro's gaze was locked on Saya. He wanted to go to her, but—
One of his companions shouted with difficulty:
"Sir, it's the final blow—finish it!"
The monster's arms and legs were restrained by Masaro's men.
Masaro gripped his sword tighter, rushed toward the monster, leaped—and shiiing!
Screen:
Floor 40 King defeated
Rewards obtained:
Energy Recovery Potion and Healing Potion
Masaro took the potion and, without a moment of hesitation, poured it into Saya's mouth.
Saya slowly opened her eyes and softly asked, "Did we win?"
Masaro said nothing. He just hugged her and breathed in the scent of her hair.
Saya's cheeks turned red and she said, "Sir, is something wrong?!"
Realizing what he was doing, Masaro's face turned red as well. He suddenly pulled away and said,
"I just wanted to thank you… umm… thanks."
Saya smiled gently and said,
"There's no need to thank me. Whenever and wherever you need help, I'll be there."
Saya's image in front of Masaro's eyes slowly darkened and cracked.
The crack shattered, and Masaro returned to the labyrinth.
The monster inside Masaro awakened—
an uncontrollable beast that only wanted revenge on everything and everyone.
Masaro attacked, slamming his sword into Aileen.
Aileen defended, but it was ineffective, and she was violently thrown back.
Attack after attack—Masaro had become an uncontrollable monster. Nothing mattered to him anymore; he only wanted to kill.
Aileen could do nothing but defend.
With every strike from Masaro, the labyrinth trembled.
Yagami threw his own sword away and grabbed Satan's sword.
"Power increase: 70%"
Aileen froze and said with ragged breaths,
"Lu… Lucifer…"
When Yagami's aura was released, even the gate of Dabura trembled for a moment and said,
"Lu… Lucifer…"
His hair turned white and floated, his eyes and aura glowing crimson.
Satan was nearly being crushed under the overwhelming pressure.
Yagami extended his hand toward Masaro and said only one word:
"Sleep."
Masaro lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.
Aileen, wounded and exhausted, was panting when suddenly she saw Yagami standing in front of her.
Yagami tilted his head and smiled.
"Now I remember—you're Kurojin's wife… right?"
Aileen swiftly swung her sword to strike Yagami, but he stopped it with just one finger.
Aileen's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Yagami said calmly,
"Don't be afraid. I don't want to kill you. Wait—I'll talk to you after I defeat Dabura… now, sleep."
Aileen lost consciousness, just like Masaro.
Yagami picked up Aileen's sword.
The screen lit up:
Forbidden Sword Muramasa
Sword level upgrade: 100%
Yagami stood before the gate, pointed at Satan, and said,
"Take those two and get out of the labyrinth."
The sword pulled back, then struck the gate repeatedly in rapid succession.
The gate shattered like glass and collapsed onto the ground.
Dabura smiled and said,
"Seems my patience wasn't wasted."
Dabura's heavy aura was released.
Satan was running toward the exit when suddenly the wall traps activated—arrows, axes, spears, guillotines, magic blades…
All were unleashed.
Satan barely dodged them, but one blade struck his arm and severed it at the forearm.
Yet Satan felt no pain at all. He kept going and exited the labyrinth.
Yagami and Dabura, two demon gods, stood facing each other, their demonic, bloodstained smiles mirroring one another.
The battle of gods was about to shake the earth…
