Curtis ran a hand through his hair.
"What the fuck?" he quipped
Lara sighed and leaned back on the couch, raising her legs up in a bid to be make herself comfortable.
"Of all the things that could have happened today, who would have thought that Mike Blake, the infamous ex husband who almost ruined my womb and my life, would pay us a visit?" she mused.
Curtis sighed as he took his seat beside her.
"You have no idea how close I came to planting my hands in his face. He was so annoying," he snapped and his expression made Lara laugh.
"Come on, don't be that way. I wasn't happy about his presence too, but I'll admit that I feel a tiny bit sad for him," she confessed.
Curtis head snapped to face her, and his eyes were narrowed in what Lara could only explain as judgemental.
"What?!"
She shrugged.
