"Nothing is impossible."
As Uchiha Gen spoke, his mind stirred. Four giant summoned beasts surged forward at their targets, while a chameleon slinked through the shadows, creeping closer.
Summoning Release!
Just as the beasts were about to strike, Nagato, hidden in the darkness, manipulated the Animal Path with precise hand seals. A series of resounding bangs sounded, and the five summoned beasts dissolved into white smoke.
"A wise choice," Uchiha Gen said faintly, a smile flickering across his lips.
If Nagato persisted in summoning, the beasts would only become his own servants. But if he let them remain, Gen could exploit the Summoning Contract Seal. Applied to the Animal Path, it would force the beasts back under his control. Giant summons were difficult to handle, especially ones with unique abilities, like the Hell Hound but for Gen, they were little more than a minor nuisance.
"Continue," he challenged, stepping lightly over the mist, rising above Tendo Pain. "Use whatever means you have to entertain me. Otherwise… if I get serious, you won't survive."
Deidara's expression twisted in anger. "Damn it, he's too arrogant! I'll blow him to pieces!" He infused his finest Chakra into the clay without hesitation.
C3 Twin-Winged Bird!
White clay spat from Deidara's mouth, forming a sleek, massive bird. Its wings flapped violently as it hurtled toward Uchiha Gen.
Sasori of the Red Sand was no less active. Emerging from Hiruko, he drew a scroll and summoned the Third Kazekage. Its black Iron Sand coalesced into a massive, spinning drill.
Konan ascended, her wide white paper wings slicing through the rain. Paper spears condensed around her, each hiding Exploding Tags. They surged outward like a river of death.
Pain of the Asura Path raised a hand, firing five flaming missiles. They split open, revealing blue Chakra laser cannons, which unleashed their deadly beams.
The Animal Path dared not summon any more beasts, and the other Paths' attacks couldn't reach Gen, so they held back. Tendo Pain, Yahiko, relied on Wind Release to restrict Gen's movements rather than his usual attraction and repulsion.
Nagato, master of all six Chakra natures, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, and Yang, had long mastered every mainstream Ninjutsu. Rarely had he needed to use them with the Rinnegan, but against Gen, his efforts were wasted. Gen didn't even bother dodging.
The attacks overwhelmed him in a spectacular display: missiles, laser cannons, exploding tags, spinning Iron Sand drills. Yet the most devastating was Deidara's C3. A massive crimson fireball ignited mid-air, evaporating rainwater and blasting shockwaves that collapsed the mansion's roof.
"He's still alive…" Nagato murmured grimly, controlling Tendo Pain with sensory precision.
A half-red, half-black Iron Sand drill fell toward Gen. With one hand, he gripped it, as if it were paper. At that moment, Gen had donned the Complete Body Susanoo—not in its full colossal form, but a condensed, exoskeleton-like version, radiating an obsidian glow. It lacked the world-shattering aura of a normal Complete Body Susanoo, yet it radiated indestructibility.
Only Gen could manipulate Susanoo to this degree. Even Indra could not achieve such absolute control. This was a gift from an extraordinarily powerful soul.
Crack.
The ten-meter drill shattered under Gen's grip like fragile stone. Simultaneously, he flipped his other hand, releasing a sheet of black mirror light.
The light raced toward the dodging Paths of Pain. The Preta Path raised its hand to absorb it, but the mirror light wasn't Chakra, it was Natural Energy. Their absorption was useless.
Instantly, the five lost contact with Nagato. The black rods dissolving in their bodies severed the connection completely. One by one, the Paths of Pain collapsed, lifeless.
From the Susanoo's sheath emerged Shizukamaru, its hilt gripped by Gen. Black lightning crackled along the sword, combining the destructive power of Susanoo and Homies into a terrifying aura of universal destruction. All of this occurred in the blink of an eye.
"It's rude not to return a favor, God. You take a move from me too."
Before finishing, Gen's black wings unfurled, raindrops slicing through the air. He appeared beside Nagato, swinging his sword in a blur that left arcs of white air swirling behind.
Shinra Tensei!
A repulsive force flung wind and rain outward, forming a translucent barrier. The lightning-laced sword paused briefly before slicing through the obstruction. Tendo Pain's eyes widened in shock as a paper rope yanked him down, causing the sword to miss and leave a trail cutting through wind and rain. Gen vanished, reappearing behind Sasori.
"Finally realized it," a hoarse, muffled voice came from the black warrior mask. The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan glowed, demonic and blood-red.
"Bastard, don't hold back," Sasori growled. His ten fingers twitched. The Third Kazekage puppet extended its left hand, thousands of arms surging outward like a serpent swarm.
Gen unleashed a white flame that incinerated the thousand arms, melting bamboo, poisons, and kunai at incredible speed. Sasori erected an Iron Sand barrier, which rapidly heated and forced him to dodge.
Meanwhile, Deidara sent C3 birds, linked head to tail, flying in a hundred-bird chain. Realizing Gen's durability, he adopted a point-to-area demolition approach. Yet his massive explosion never came. Gen stabbed his sword into the first bird's mouth, a black lightning bolt racing through the line, reducing all to duds.
"Hmph… what?" Deidara roared, madness overtaking him.
He attempted a C0 self-detonation, converging all Chakra into his chest. Gen, however, was already there, eyes locking with him and pulling him into a Genjutsu. In the illusory world, Deidara exploded into Patrick Star, believing he had killed Gen.
"Hahaha… my art blew him up!" Deidara screamed, only to be grabbed by Gen and flung toward Sasori.
The Third Kazekage puppet intercepted Deidara. Gen flashed between them, slashing invisible Chakra threads, inserting a glowing white orb into the puppet.
"Master," the lifeless puppet spoke, its eyes regaining life.
"Play with them, but don't kill them."
"Yes, Master," the puppet obeyed. Sasori's masterpiece, now alive, struck back, forcing him to focus entirely on battle. Deidara, frustrated, slacked off.
Nagato and Konan used the moment to retrieve the fallen Paths of Pain, careful not to discard them carelessly.
"God, any new tricks? If not, this game ends," Gen challenged, standing ten meters from Tendo Pain and Konan, black lightning flickering beneath his sword. Rain cascaded over his Susanoo, its blood-red eyes like a demon god.
Tendo Pain steadied his resolve. "Konan, stay away. I'll use that technique."
"Understood." Konan's wings spread as she rose into the air.
"Miss Konan, your wings are white, and mine are black. Look how perfectly matched," Gen teased.
Konan paused, dazed, before muttering under her breath and speeding up. His teasing ignited Nagato's fury from the shadows.
Chibaku Tensei!
Nagato unleashed his final Chakra, creating a black sphere larger than the one that trapped the Nine-Tailed. The gravitational force lifted debris skyward. Uchiha Gen, the primary target, ascended, stabilizing himself with black wings flapping against the storm.
Under the black warrior mask, Gen's expression remained calm. He summoned the black mirror. Sword and mirror merged, Senjutsu Chakra poured in, and a black beam pierced the black sphere. The gravitational pull vanished. Debris rained down, roars echoed, and smoke billowed.
Tendo Pain watched in disbelief and despair. In reality, Gen had not even used a true Chibaku Tensei—its power paled compared to Madara's Tengai Shinsei.
"Is this your ultimate technique?" Nagato demanded.
"Nothing special," Gen replied disdainfully, wounding Nagato's pride.
"I have more powerful techniques!" Nagato spat, grasping his hands.
"The Outer Path Demonic Statue? I advise against it. It would drain your life and achieve nothing."
Gen's Susanoo expanded rapidly, rising with him. Within moments, it towered 236 meters, black mirror light piercing the clouds. Sunlight broke through, casting the colossal form as a god or demon. Though immense, it was not Gen's limit. Integrating his Four Homies and Natural Energy, he could challenge even Six Paths-level opponents effortlessly.
Unlike Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, Gen combined raw power with mastery and combat experience.
Mei Terumī gazed upward, her expression blank. "It got bigger."
