Elodie's POV
I watched in silence, fear gripping my heart as I watched him walk towards me. My feet moved back, and without knowing, I bumped into Draven. I felt his hands beside my shoulders as he leaned down, his jaw resting softly on my nape.
"Stay still." His warm breath fanned over my nape, and my head moved up and down. We both stood in silence as Viktor walked for a few steps, stopped, and turned sideways.
"If you aren't going to speak, you might as well leave. It won't do us any good if someone saw you here." He spoke, speaking to someone.
"Who is he talking to?" I whispered, but Draven's hand raised and covered my mouth, and my eyes went wide.
"Shh." He shushed. I bit my lips and watched in silence without moving.
"I might be a little rough." He added, and before I could ask what he wanted to do, his grip tightened around my mouth, and his other hand wrapped around my waist, lifting me off the floor.
