Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Lessons Learned

The little girl words echoed through the hall.

"Emi, Okay." Kevin said gently.

He didn't take Emily words seriously. How can a kid words decide important matter like that.

Kevin gaze turned toward Emily mother, Nina.

He smiled wryly

Kids, Rights!

"That's perfect, let's decide the detail tomorrow." Nina said, her voice didn't sound like she was joking.

Apparently, Kevin was wrong. Kid word could actually decide important matter just like that.

Kevin has learned a new wisdom today.

"Emi, be my dear and bring our guest to northern quarter."

"Okay, mom." Emily smiles as she dragged Kevin with both of her hands, leading him toward his new living place.

Nina watched as both of them leave the venue.

"I admit that he is an interesting person," Nina stated, "but I couldn't see the reason why you wanted me to recruit him?"

Nina gaze shifted from the door to the opposite end of table.

In the place that should have been empty, sit a man.

"If I said he killed a monster without Ether Enchantment, what would you think?" The man said, answering a question with another question.

"Impossible!" Nina said instantly and without waiting for the man to answer she continue.

"I have seen him earlier, sure his Ether doesn't reach the threshold to reach third grade standard, but it was close."

"... That's because he killed the boar alone, the man replied, "Before they fought, The Ether he possessed is at the level of apprentice hunter or maybe even lower."

Nina frowned, "That's basically nothing, isn't it? Are you sure it wasn't just your imagination? maybe old age had catch up to you."

"That's not something you can say, when you are far older than me!" The man yells out angrily.

"Swiish."

Out of nowhere a dagger appears and flew toward the man.

"Clang."

He easily parries it using his own weapon, a similar dagger as the one thrown at him.

"I think you need to check your eyes old man! how can I be older than you."

"I am sorry, "The man rolled his eyes, "It's just a slip of tongue."

"You better watch what you were saying or else..."

"An age is just a number, why be angry over it? " The man muttered as he raised his hands in surrender.

"You will feel the same way if I said your d*ick is short!"

"Mine isn't!"

"Not according to your wife!"

The man heart felt like it was pierced by a thousand knife.

"Did Ellen really said that?!" The man said, demanding answer urgently.

"A d*ick length is just a number, why be worried over it!"

Instead of giving him a straight answer, Nina threw back his own words back at him with a little modification.

The man falls on his knee.

Today he learned a harsh lesson – Never, ever mention a woman age – Especially if they are old.
