So Otis nodded and responded to her, "Then shall we clean up?"
Mei paused for a moment. "Let's clean. I don't even know how to start."
One hour later, the room was spotless.
Mei looked at the clean, shiny room in silence.

Night fell.
Mei lay on her own bed, feeling like it had never been this comfortable. Otis lay on Mei's bed, finding it a little novel. Mei's bed. After all this time, he had never once slept on Mei's bed. He could smell the faint scent on her blanket. It felt new.
