The notifications flashed across Selene's retina, making her smile brightly. But with the situation at hand, she decided to deal with them later.
"Yara! Try hitting only the solid stone parts of their bodies, break through their obsidian shells first!" Selene shouted advice over the sounds of combat. "Don't waste arrows targeting the flowing lava portions directly!"
Yara nodded her understanding, immediately adjusting her strategy. She closed one eye to focus her aim, her breathing slowed and her hands steadied as she drew her bow string.
WHOOSH!
The arrow struck true to her intended target, piercing cleanly through the Magma Spirit's stone rather than getting caught in molten liquid.
The creature shook violently, clearly dazed and disoriented from the penetrating damage. But it recovered quickly, leaping aggressively toward Yara once more while simultaneously exhaling a gout of flame from its mouth.
At the same time, Yara was already nocking her next arrows.
