Cain was silent for a moment before nodding to the woman. He cast a gaze toward her side. It was rude, but the boy wanted to check her condition after he absorbed all the virus inside her body.
Her silky silver hair cascaded down her back with a lustrous glimmer. Her face was clear and unblemished, the skin smooth. There was not a single mark left from that crimson crack, which left dread.
The boy exhaled a short breath; relief washed over his expression after noticing that senior Luna's mother was fine. Cain accidentally locked eyes with the woman, who parted her lips into a joyful smirk. He tilted his head sideways, wondering what was in her mind.
Before the confused boy, the woman raised her palm to cover her giggling lips. She glanced at senior Luna, then spoke teasingly.
"Oh my, Luna. I guess the apple wouldn't fall away from its tree."
'Hm?'
