The walk back to the hotel was a test of patience and restraint.
After that heated kiss they shared at the beach, Lucien was in desperate need of his Anchor. Actually, desperation didn't even begin to describe how he felt as they stood there inside of the lobby, waiting for the elevator to come down.
His body itched and prickled with awareness. It was as if he'd been overcome by a sudden disease that made staying away from Kenneth an almost deadly experience. His cells called to him. His entire being called to the man standing next to him who was looking more and more delectable by the millisecond.
He needed him like a fish needed water to live, and it didn't help that Kenneth looked at him with the same level of fervour.
