"If we want the truth quickly and avoid wasting everyone's time," she continued, "then an examination by Nurse Beatrice is the best course of action."
Her voice was steady and professional, so unlike her usual personality. Eveline's beautiful features shifted into a thoughtful expression.
She looked at the three trembling girls. Then at Elion. After a few seconds, she nodded.
"You're right," she said slowly.
She turned toward the crowd.
"Everyone, disperse. This matter will be handled privately."
A wave of groans rose immediately.
