Chapter 209 - Chapter 208 It'll Probably Be Quite Interesting, Won't It?

"Warning! The restaurant's level is too low, and the host's permissions are insufficient. At level 1, you cannot recruit a second waiter. Please reject the waiter's job application and upgrade the restaurant as soon as possible to gain more permissions." The system's serious voice sounded, carrying a strong warning.

"System, I'm here to buy clothes from you?" Mai Ge scoffed.

"If the host refuses the waiter's job offer, then you won't need to buy clothes, right?" the system seemed a little confused.

"Why should I refuse?" Mai Ge asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Host, please take every word this system says seriously! Every word this system utters has profound meaning, it might even contain an opportunity to reach the pinnacle of life. Missing it will be a lifelong regret!" the system shouted in exasperation. "I said! Your access level is too low! Please upgrade the restaurant's level first before you can unlock the second waiter access!"

"You can express your opinion, but I won't listen." Mai Ge said calmly with a smile, "System, you need to remember that most of the time you are just a supplier of ingredients, and I am the restaurant owner. Whether or not I buy your ingredients depends on my mood. You are just a supplier of ingredients, why do you have so many demands? Isn't it better to just sell your ingredients properly?"

"Ho…" the system's voice suddenly rose a few decibels.

"And another thing, what does the restaurant's level and permissions have to do with me? You didn't provide the waitresses, did you pay them? Or did you cook for them? I earned my own money and hired these waitresses, so why do you expect me not to hire more?" Mai Ge interrupted the system, calmly posing four questions.

"I…I…I'm speechless…" the system slumped in dejection…

"System, come out and sell women's clothing." Mai Ge scoffed. This little brat dares to mess with me? I can't argue with customers, but it's pretty satisfying to unleash my primal power by arguing with the system.

Mai Ge's mind immediately conjured up rows of neatly arranged cheongsams. He'd casually glance at the pictures, skipping over details like slits up to the navel and single-layered sheer fabric. Was he really that kind of boss?

As he continued downwards, Mai Ge's gaze fell upon a porcelain white cheongsam adorned with a touch of blue floral pattern. His eyes lit up immediately. The porcelain white was dignified and elegant, with a refreshing blue floral border around the hem and cuffs. The collar featured a few simple blue floral prints that extended downwards, outlining several elegant lines.

The hemline just reaches the knee, with a small slit that reveals a glimpse of fair, tender thigh without hindering movement. It looks like an elegant yet noble piece of blue and white porcelain, exuding a strong Chinese style.

"It should suit her very well." Mai Ge nodded in satisfaction. Sally's elegance and nobility surpassed that of the model on display, and her aura was more than capable of carrying off this cheongsam.

Then Mai Ge scrolled down and ordered a light silver cheongsam with gold trim. The style looked similar to the light silver dress Sally was wearing, except that the dress had been changed into a cheongsam. This way, if Sally didn't like the white cheongsam, she shouldn't be too opposed to this one.

As for shoes, Mai Ge paired them with two pairs of black low-heeled leather shoes, which were worn by the models in the pictures, and should be a good match for the cheongsam.

As for the black stockings… Mai Ge hesitated for a moment, then decided to give up.

Hmm, isn't that a bit inappropriate?

Of course, the main problem was that his budget was a bit tight. He had just spent 10,000 gold coins in the morning, and then spent another sum of money on information at noon. His midday sales were not even enough to buy stockings!

This money-obsessed system only accepts cash!

"That's settled, System, proceed with the customization." Mai Ge nodded in satisfaction. He hadn't originally planned to turn the restaurant into a maid cafe, so he wouldn't use maid outfits as standard uniforms. Customizing unique uniforms for each employee based on their individual characteristics was part of the fun.

"Ding! Two Tian Xuan Silk Cheongsams and two pairs of Shanar Island Bison Soft Leather Shoes, totaling 30 gold coins, deducted successfully."

"Ding! Customization in progress. Delivery in five minutes. Please confirm delivery address."

"Just put it on the bed." Mai Ge said casually, walking to the table and sitting down. He opened the document bag on the table, and before he could even touch it, a small yellow envelope fell out and landed on the floor.

"Hmm?" Mai Ge bent down and picked it up. It was a palm-sized yellow kraft paper envelope, sealed with a piece of yellow clay, presumably to prevent it from being opened midway.

"Top Secret?" Mai Ge flipped the envelope over, looking at the two words written in red handwriting. His brows furrowed, and he glanced at the bag full of documents on the table, then at the unopened envelope in his hand. His eyes suddenly lit up. "Could it be that the person who was in such a hurry to pack the documents for me accidentally dropped a top secret letter in with them?"

"Let's see what kind of top secret letter it is." Mai Ge suddenly became interested. He picked up the envelope and tapped it lightly on the table. The yellow mud on it crumbled, and he poured it into the trash can. Then he take the iron ruler and gently cut open the envelope.

There was only one sheet of paper in the envelope. Mai Ge took it out, casually set the envelope aside, and began to read it carefully.

The letter was written in the common language used in continent, and the handwriting was somewhat messy, indicating that the writer was probably in a hurry to send it.

"According to reliable sources, Sally • Brewster, the eldest daughter of the Brewster family, ran away from home more than thirty days ago and her whereabouts are still unknown. She is believed to be heading south and may currently be in the Chaos City. More than twenty days ago, the Elven Elder Lady Helena proposed to the Queen that Sally • Brewster become the new Elven Princess, and eighty percent of the elven elders supported this proposal…..."

Mai Ge stared at the documents in his hand, his eyes widening and his expression growing increasingly strange.

"Holy crap! What kind of mess have I made?! Do I have a grudge against the elves?" Mai Ge slowly put down the documents, his face filled with undisguised shock.

Although the information on the paper was limited, but based on the current situation, he could easily guess that Sally was the runaway heiress, a soon to be elf princess.

The elf princess Irina had given birth to Amy for him.

And now, the soon to be elf princess Sally was working as a waitress in his restaurant?

Mai Ge fell into deep thought. What had the elves done to offend him in their past lives? Why couldn't they overcome this obstacle?

According to the secret letter, both the Brewster family and the elven royal family were currently dispatching forces to search for Sally. The search area had almost covered the entire continent, and the level of secrecy was extremely high.

He had no idea what kind of expression those elven experts would have when they searched the entire continent and finally discovered that the soon to be elf princess they were looking for was actually working as a waitress in a small restaurant.

"It'll probably be quite interesting, won't it?" Mai Ge couldn't help but laugh.

"However, it seems that Irina's situation is not very good?" Mai Ge put down the secret letter in his hand and fell into deep thought again.
