Chapter 120 - Chapter 119 I'll Smash Your Head!

The restaurant was so quiet that the soft gurgling sound Amy made after swallowing the tofu pudding could be clearly heard.

"Sweet tofu pudding is so delicious!" Amy opened her eyes and said happily, taking another spoonful and feeding it to her mouth. She kept eating, spoonful after spoonful, unable to stop, her little face beaming with joy.

"So, which one do you prefer?" Mai Ge raised an eyebrow, noticing that Amy's expression was almost the same when she ate both the savory and sweet tofu puddings, clearly enjoying them both.

But thinking back, Amy's expression was similar the first time she ate Yang Zhou Fried Rice and Rou Jia Mo. That pure, innocent smile, completely absorbed in the food, made her delicate little face even more adorable.

A short while later, Amy licked the bottom of her empty bowl before reluctantly putting it down.

"So, Amy, do you think the savory tofu pudding is better, or the sweet one?" Mai Ge asked, smiling at Amy.

"I think…" Amy looked at Mai Ge and Yabemia, who were looking at her a little nervously, thought for a moment, and nodded, "They're both delicious. Savory tofu pudding can be eaten with Rou Jia Mo. The fragrant and savory flavor makes the Rou Jia Mo even tastier. Sweet tofu pudding can be eaten after the savory tofu pudding and Rou Jia Mo. The sweet flavor is just right at the end. It makes you feel so satisfied and comfortable after eating it. Tofu pudding, both savory and sweet, are super delicious!"

Mai Ge and Yabemia exchanged a helpless glance. They had both thought Amy would side with them, but unexpectedly, Amy thought it was all delicious. This meant that she was on their side. The savory and sweet factions were evenly split. He guessed that if the savory and sweet factions ever fought, both of the factions would be closer to Amy.

"Boss Mai, this is Crassus. I have something I want to tell you. Can I come in beforehand?" Just then, there was another knock on the door.

"It's Grandpa Half Beard!" Amy looked towards the door and said happily, "Daddy, could you give Grandpa Half Beard a bowl of tofu pudding too? I think he'll love the sweet tofu pudding. He's so old, he must have lost most of his teeth, so soft tofu pudding will be easy for him to eat."

"I'll go open the door first. Our restaurant's tofu pudding hasn't started selling yet." Mai Ge shook his head with a smile. He had just finished reading Crassus's information, which lessened his hostility towards him considerably. Crassus's relationship with the elven princess made his mind wander. Crassus's identity might provide access to some more secretive information, which was more reliable than the half-guessing detective agency outside.

"Yulian! What are you doing here!" Just as Mai Ge was about to open the door, Crassus's voice rang out again from outside, sounding somewhat surprised and annoyed.

Yulian is the name of the old mage at the magic potion shop next door. Sherlock mentioned in the information he gave him that Crassus and Yulian might have a grudge, and it seems that the information was quite accurate. The two do know each other, and the grudge is probably quite deep.

"Crassus, I've lived here for almost ten years. If you can be here, why can't I?" Yulian sneered, his voice hoarse, like two rusty iron plates rubbing against each other, making it somewhat unpleasant to listen to.

"Exactly! Exactly!" Black Charcoal's voice rang out, echoing from the side.

"You featherless bird, one more squawk and you'll be cooked." Crassus said calmly, glancing at Black Charcoal, his eyes darting towards Yulian, a mixture of annoyance and anxiety in his heart. "What's this old geezer doing here? Is he just here for a meal? Or has he also taken a liking to Amy's talent and wants to take her as his apprentice?"

"This prince isn't afraid of you!" Black Charcoal said, though its voice clearly lacked confidence, and he timidly moved back into the cage, closer to Yulian.

"It's none of your business to lecture my bird." Yulian's voice turned cold, and he looked at Crassus with a somewhat gloomy gaze, as if even the surrounding temperature had dropped.

"Hmph, I never care who raised the guy I want to teach a lesson to. When the king was still the crown prince, I taught him plenty of times." Crassus retorted just as forcefully, and the air around him began to scorch.

"Ding-a-ling!" A bell rang, and Mai Ge opened the door. Crassus and Yulian turned their heads at the same time.

"If you two want to fight, please do it outside. The restaurant needs to open for business soon, and it wouldn't be good if it froze or burned down the door." Mai Ge opened the door, standing right on the dividing line between the two, experiencing the sensation of both ice and fire. Looking at the two who were about to fight, he spread his hands helplessly.

Crassus still held the tall mage's staff in his hand, his white mage robes spotless, while Yulian was dressed in a jet-black mage's robe, holding a short magic wand in one hand and a birdcage in the other. The Black Charcoal, covered by two leaves, huddled in a corner, trembling.

Crassus and Yulian stared at Mai Ge for a moment, both stunned. Given their status and strength, even if they were fighting in front of the Royal Palace of Luo Du, the King might not dare to come out and tell them to move further away to avoid damaging the palace gates.

Unexpectedly, Mai Ge opened the door, didn't try to stop them, and simply told them to fight somewhere else.

This reason is quite refreshing and unconventional.

Crassus and Yulian exchanged a glance, hesitated for a moment, and almost simultaneously concealed their auras.

"Boss Mai...." they both looked at Mai Ge, speaking at the same time, then stopped abruptly, staring at each other.

"You two come in first." Mai Ge said somewhat helplessly, watching the two about to confront each other again. Their intentions weren't hard to guess; it seemed Yulian also wanted to take Amy as his apprentice.

"Okay." Crassus nodded and entered the restaurant first.

"Hmm." Yulian hesitated for a moment, then nodded and followed.

Mai Ge closed the door and lowered the blinds.

Since finding a mage teacher for Amy through Chaos Academy is not an option, it would be better to try to formally contact Crassus and Yulian instead of looking for other mages.

Crassus's resume was incredibly impressive. A mage who could kill a dragon with a mage's staff is the only one like him on the Nolan Continent.

Although there is very little information about Yulian, but the fact that he dared to go toe-to-toe with Crassus without being at a disadvantage shows that his strength is no less than Crassus's, and he seems to have no connection with the Mage Tower.

"Yulian, you ruined my plan to take Irina as my apprentice twenty years ago. If you try to interfere again this time, I'll risk my life to smash your head!" Crassus stopped and turned to look at Yulian seriously.
