Chapter 130. Borrowing Alice's Bomb from Klee
Today, the Abyss Order faced its most tragic battle.
Three Archons had gathered within the Abyss. The Abyss itself was vast—so vast that, in theory, locating the Abyss Order should have been exceedingly difficult. Yet by a cruel twist of fate, the three Archons had stumbled upon a crucial stronghold of the Abyss Order.
Within this location were numerous Abyss Order powerhouses.
And even His Highness—the Prince—was present.
For a time, the situation of the Abyss Order could only be described as utterly tragic.
The Prince of the Abyss Order—Aether.
At this very moment, he was enduring immense suffering. The Abyss Order had already revealed every trump card at its disposal, throwing all of its strength into resisting the three Archons: the Raiden Shogun, the Anemo Archon, and the Geo Archon.
Although the Anemo Archon himself appeared to be slacking off, Dvalin—blessed by the Anemo Archon—had entered a state akin to a berserker.
He casually unleashed large-scale area-of-effect abilities one after another. The destructive range he wrought was even more terrifying than the two celestial bodies Zhongli had summoned earlier.
Raiden Ei, meanwhile, clung to Aether like a shadow that could not be shaken off. The two clashed repeatedly in the skies above the ancient, dilapidated city, their battle fierce beyond description.
Aether did not dare to go all out.
Zhongli's attitude had already made everything clear.
If Aether dared to unleash his full strength, then Morax's would likely descend without hesitation—and Aether might even find himself facing Zhongli instead of Raiden Ei. Moreover, this battle had drawn the attention of more powerhouses hidden within the Abyss, many of whom were now eager to observe.
The Abyss Order, after all, was not the Abyss itself. In addition, many devices and plans still can't be used. If he had the Loom of Fate, at least he could weave the current fate.
Aether remained wary of certain existences within the Abyss.
Zhongli was wary as well.
Even if Raiden Ei understood all of this, she was already on the brink of losing her sanity.
She could do nothing. Five hundred years ago, her dear friend—and Makoto—had both perished. Now, five hundred years later, the junior she had finally come to cherish— had been eliminated by the Abyss Order.
This despair.
This helplessness.
All of it transformed entirely into Raiden Ei's rage. Her body would become a Shura, one that delivered despair and suffering upon her enemies.
Elsewhere—
Within the spatial tunnel on the opposite side, Futsu Mitama finally saw the [light].
The moment he emerged, he sensed something amiss and decisively shot upward into the air.
"Swish—!!"
Anemo energy surged around Futsu Mitama, wrapping him in its flow and carrying him upward as he narrowly evaded one elemental attack after another.
"Boom—!!!!"
A succession of elemental explosions resounded.
Futsu Mitama hovered in mid-air, his expression grave.
Surrounding him were three Abyss Lectors, one additional Abyss Apostle, five Abyss Mages, more than a dozen Rifthounds, and several Geovishaps with distinctly strange appearances.
What a lineup. A truly extravagant lineup.
Even a Futsu Mitama at his peak would find this situation exceedingly troublesome.
Setting aside everything else, an Abyss Lector's strength alone was not weak—let alone the fact that there were three of them.
The Rifthounds and Geovishaps were in an abnormal state, their bodies faintly wreathed in ominous black auras.
This was clearly a method the Abyss Order used to control monsters. Futsu Mitama had seen this technique before—back in Liyue.
"What a small world."
An Abyss Lector stepped forward, his voice carrying a trace of unmistakable schadenfreude as his gaze locked onto Futsu Mitama.
"His Highness once warned me not to become your enemy in Liyue. Because our master would be displeased. And if possible, we were told not to seek revenge against you."
He paused, the curve of his lips deepening.
"I never expected you to deliver yourself straight into our hands. Though I still don't understand why you chose to help Venti save that dragon."
"But now—You've finally fallen."
This Abyss Lector was narrow-minded and vindictive. He had nearly been killed by Futsu Mitama before, and that humiliation had festered ever since. Now, he intended to reclaim everything—interest included.
This location had been prepared specifically for Venti. Its sole purpose was to delay him.
Every one of them stationed here had already accepted their fate: they would use their lives to prevent Venti from leaving. The lineup might have seemed insufficient to challenge a god, but the Abyss Order was already stretched thin.
Using these forces to stall Venti, in exchange for securing Dvalin as a war machine, was—by Abyss standards—a profitable exchange.
What none of them had anticipated was that Venti never arrived. Instead, a Raiden Shogun's Retainer appeared. One who had already expended most of his strength.
"Enough talk."
At that moment, another Abyss Lector spoke coldly. "Dispose of him quickly. The plan in Mondstadt has failed—there can be no further mistakes in Liyue."
The second Abyss Lector inclined his head in agreement. With Mondstadt lost, Liyue was next.
Time was something they could no longer afford.
"Indeed."
The Lector who had once suffered at Futsu Mitama's hands knew better than anyone the importance of striking decisively. He raised his hand sharply.
"Attack!"
Though Futsu Mitama's aura appeared abnormally weak, the Abyss Lector did not let his guard down. He knew all too well that this man was anything but ordinary. And the weaker the enemy appeared, the more dangerous he became.
Who could say whether Futsu Mitama still possessed a final move—one meant to drag everyone down with him?
The Abyss Order did not fear sacrifice. But they despised meaningless sacrifice.
As the order was given, Rifthound—no, Rifthound Whelps mixed with Geovishaps—charged forward in unison.
"Impregnable!"
Without hesitation, Futsu Mitama activated the Jade Shield, prioritizing survival above all else.
"Tear—!!"
The Rifthound Whelps tore through space, appearing instantly before him. Their claws raked violently against the Jade Shield.
"Buzz—!!!"
Golden light rippled across the shield's surface as ancient, obscure characters emerged.
Yet something was wrong. At the points of impact, corrosive energy spread outward, interfering with the Jade Shield's recovery.
Futsu Mitama's brow furrowed.
If his memory served him correctly, Rifthound Whelps were creations of the alchemist known as [Gold].
In-game, they were notorious—shield-breakers capable of inflicting relentless bleeding. He had been tormented by them more than once back in Inazuma. Only after switching to Barbara and Kokomi had he finally escaped that misery.
But now—
They were corroding the Jade Shield itself. If this corrosion accumulated too much, the shield would shatter.
"Roar—!!!"
A half-evolved Geovishap lunged forward, its appearance grotesque beyond description. It resembled a malformed fusion of Geovishap hatchling and Geovishap—hideous to behold. Yet despite its ugliness, its strength was undeniable. At the very least, Futsu Mitama had no intention of receiving its attacks head-on.
Delay.
Delay as much as possible—until his stamina recovered.
"Buzz—!!!"
Musou Isshin condensed in his grasp. Chakra Desiderata continued to hover behind him as he released a bolt of searing Electro light.
One Rifthound Whelp fell instantly.
Futsu Mitama retreated at once, narrowly evading the Geovishap's counterattack.
"Die!"
Invoking the Anemo Archon Authority, he injected Anemo energy into Musou Isshin and stepped forward in a sudden burst. The blade—woven of Electro and Anemo—cleaved straight through the Geovishap, splitting it cleanly in half.
After sparring with Kazuha, he had inevitably absorbed several techniques for manipulating Anemo.
The thought made him inwardly complain. He had left Inazuma to search for a method of forging a companion weapon.
Yet now, elemental weaponization had become increasingly instinctive. If Zhongli were to hand over the Geo Archon Authority someday—
Could he temporarily create a weapon rivaling a divine arm using three Archon Authorities? The answer was likely yes.
But Futsu Mitama did not pause. The Abyss Order clearly intended for these Geovishaps and Rifthound Whelps to exhaust his stamina. What they did not realize—
was that the longer this battle dragged on, the faster his stamina recovered. He appeared to be fighting on the brink of collapse. In truth, he was steadily regaining strength.
While Futsu Mitama fought, the Chat Group was anything but quiet.
[Venti: "Hmm?! Futsu Mitama is fighting Abyss Order members? Then why can't I sense him?"]
[Raiden Makoto: "You can't sense him? Did you enter the wrong space?"]
[Azhdaha: "Wrong space? You went to the wrong place?"]
[Maha Rukkhadevata: "If Archon Authority is granted, then within the same space, distance is irrelevant—presence can always be sensed."]
[Maha Rukkhadevata: "If Venti cannot sense him, then they are not in the same space."]
[Albedo: "The Abyss may consist of multiple layered spaces. From my research, it appears to be divided into several strata. Each layer houses extremely powerful monsters."]
[Yae Miko: "I've heard similar rumors. Several floors, they say—the deeper you go, the more terrifying the inhabitants."]
[Zhongli: "From a universal perspective, Venti and Raiden Ei likely arrived at the wrong location."]
[Venti: "Never mind that. Beelzebub and the Prince are locked in fierce combat. Still, I'm relieved you're alive. Your priority is to escape. We can search the Abyss layers later."]
[Guizhong: "His situation is dire. They intend to exhaust him before overwhelming him."]
[Aila: "Young Master, should I give you the item? The Broken Pocket Watch can accelerate your personal time flow. With your skill, you could turn the tide."]
[Kamisato Ayaka: "If you can flee, I can lend you my cloak that conceals one's aura."]
[Kuki Shinobu: "Do you have talismans?"]
[Futsu Mitama: "How could I possibly use those?"]
[Yae Miko: "Little one, open the brocade pouch I gave you. A clone of mine is inside. Release her, and I can manifest briefly."]
[Azhdaha: "A pity. I have nothing to contribute. Why can't this Gift system package me?"]
[Raiden Makoto: "Same."]
[Maha Rukkhadevata: "I have no contingencies either."]
[Klee: "@Venti Venti big brother!!! Give Futsu Mitama big brother Mama's bombs!!!"]
[Venti: "Oh~ right! Alice's bombs still exist. This is the Abyss anyway—it doesn't matter."]
[Venti: "Klee, remember to explain things clearly to your Mama~ Otherwise, Venti big brother will be in big trouble."]
[Klee: "Mhm! I'll explain it properly!"]
[Futsu Mitama: "Alright. I'll borrow them."]
[Aila: "Young Master, please stay safe."]
[Futsu Mitama: "Don't worry. I will."]
Gifts began to flow.
On Mt. Aocang, Aila removed the Broken Pocket Watch she had worn for years and sent it.
In Inazuma City, Kamisato Ayaka—under the pretense of excusing herself—sent the aura-concealing cloak she always carried.
Within the Abyss, Venti casually produced Klee's confiscated bombs, sealed them into a gift, and sent them along.
At this point, Venti was no longer anxious. With so many contingencies, Futsu Mitama would be fine.
However—
Venti glanced at Zhongli nearby. The two exchanged a look—should Raiden Ei be stopped?
Zhongli shook his head slightly.
There was no need. Let her vent.
Futsu Mitama's survival was not in doubt. Once he escaped, with his physique and recovery—augmented by the Chat Group—he would return to peak condition within hours.
Even within the Abyss, he would thrive.
Zhongli understood him well.
Though Futsu Mitama believed in harmony, once offended, he would pursue annihilation with relentless precision. If the enemy could not be eradicated entirely, then at least one arm would be broken—to teach them pain.
The Primo Geovishap.
Dottore's dissected fragments.
These were proof enough.
Raiden Ei, still suppressed by Aether, erupted with increasingly terrifying Electro power. Five hundred years of grief, regret, and restraint were being unleashed all at once.
Had Futsu Mitama not disappeared—had death not loomed—she might have sparred patiently.
Now, every strike was a killing blow.
Musou no Hitotachi.
Everything.
Aether was forced steadily backward. It was not that he was weaker. This was his home ground. But if the situation deteriorated—
this duel would instantly become a three-on-one.
His subordinates were already overwhelmed. A single Geo Spear from Zhongli was enough to cripple them.
Still, Aether felt a sliver of relief. Morax had not yet thrown it.
That spear was no joke.
The surrounding ruins mattered little. But the central structure—
that absolutely could not be destroyed.
If it fell, even without fighting today, the Abyss Order would retaliate with madness later.
This was not their headquarters. But it was indispensable.
Which left Aether trapped—unable to advance, unable to retreat.
Negotiation crossed his mind. But Raiden Ei would not listen. Venti and the Geo Archon showed no interest either.
Meanwhile, elsewhere—
Futsu Mitama continued to fight, appearing increasingly strained. Each time he seemed about to fall, he narrowly evaded death and struck down another foe.
The Abyss Mages and Abyss Lectors were in no hurry.
Monsters were expendable.
Geovishaps were plentiful in Liyue.
Rifthound Whelps were slaves to the Golden Wolflord.
Time favored them.
Futsu Mitama's record was legendary.
Everyone present knew he had nearly killed an Abyss Lector before.
And back then—he had been weaker than he was now.
Now he wielded Anemo Archon Authority.
Who knew what trump cards he still held?
Futsu Mitama understood their intentions perfectly. That was precisely why he feigned weakness, quietly recovering as much stamina as possible — waiting for the chance to annihilate them all in a single strike.
Both sides were calculating against each other.
Just then, one of the Abyss Lectors frowned, as though receiving sudden news. His voice trembled with shock.
"This is bad! Something has happened on His Highness the Prince's side!"
"Three gods have invaded the Abyss! His Highness is currently holding them back!"
The words struck like thunder. The Abyss Mages and Lectors widened their eyes. Something had happened to His Highness?
Three Archons…invading the Abyss?!
What was happening?!
Why would gods willingly enter the Abyss? This was no place for ordinary beings to endure. Even the Seven Archons should fear the Abyssal curse.
"No — we must deal with this Raiden Shogun's Retainer immediately!"
The Abyss Lector made a decisive call, even knowing that Futsu Mitama might still possess a final trump card capable of dragging them all down.
There was no time to hesitate.
"Aren't we capturing him?" another Abyss Lector asked, puzzled. "If three gods have invaded, it must be related to him. If we capture him—"
A third Lector nodded. Even His Highness could not truly withstand three gods alone. Why had they created war weapons in the first place, if not to increase their combat strength?
The Abyss Mages also agreed. Capturing Futsu Mitama might resolve everything. After all, the location of His Highness was of utmost importance.
"Ignorance."
The first Abyss Lector interrupted coldly.
"This is our best opportunity. If we fail to kill him now, and he reveals something to the three gods, the consequences will be far worse."
"And don't forget — this man is notoriously petty. If we let him live, he will retaliate against the Order without restraint."
"The Primo Geovishap. Dvalin. Two living examples."
Silence fell.
Yes…Futsu Mitama's reputation for pettiness was infamous. Those who offended him never met good ends. To eradicate him here truly was the safest choice.
"Good."
The Abyss Lector made his decision.
"All units, attack together. Kill him, then move immediately to His Highness's side."
Chanting erupted as elemental energy surged. Lightning, flames, water, and frost converged, intent on obliterating both Futsu Mitama and the surrounding monsters in one overwhelming assault.
"Hm?"
Futsu Mitama frowned.
Dodging a Vishap's strike, he glanced toward the chanting Abyss Order members, a sense of unease rising within him.
Had they realized he was recovering?
If so, then there was no reason to continue playing along.
He retreated swiftly, producing a bottle of milky-white liquid — Sweet Coconut Milk, a recovery item Aila had obtained long ago.
"Gulp, gulp, gulp!!!"
He drained it in one breath, feeling his stamina and mental energy recover — slowly, painfully slowly.
The corner of his mouth twitched.
Still as useless as ever.
But some recovery was better than none.
"Whoosh—!!"
Musou Isshin flashed, cutting down the approaching Vishap. Futsu Mitama retreated again.
"Buzz—!!"
Memory of Dust radiated golden brilliance, reflected in his eyes. Geo energy surged as he crossed his arms and spoke coldly.
"Tendo Bansho!"
A massive Planet Befall formed in the sky and crashed downward.
"What?!"
"Rex Lapis's technique?!"
"Wasn't he exhausted?!"
"Kill him! Now!"
The Abyss Order was shaken. The meteor struck, obliterating the Rifthounds and Vishaps instantly. Petrifying shockwaves rippled outward. Elemental shields flared as the Abyss elites resisted the effect. They were far enough away — petrification alone would not stop them.
"Is he dead?" one Lector asked, eyes fixed on the dust-filled crater.
This battlefield had been prepared to suppress the Anemo Archon — flight and spatial escape were impossible.
The only exit was straight through them.
They did not believe in fair fights.
"I don't know," came the reply. "But the one who should be anxious is—"
Lightning split the dust.
"Whoosh—!!!"
An impossibly fast figure surged forward.
"He's alive?!"
Excitement flared in the Lector's voice.
This was good.
Last time, he had nearly died by Futsu Mitama's hand — saved only by His Highness's intervention. That humiliation still burned.
"Everyone, be careful," another Lector warned calmly. "He may still have one final strike."
But when Futsu Mitama arrived, he did not draw his blade. Instead, he produced a blackened Jumpy Dumpty with an unmistakably unhappy face.
A bomb.
One Alice had made for Klee.
The glow intensified.
"This is bad!!!"
"Run!!!"
"It's a bomb!!!"
"How can it feel this terrifying?!"
"Damn Raiden Shogun's Retainer!!!"
Too late.
"Boom—!!!!"
The explosion erased everything.
A colossal mushroom cloud rose skyward. Futsu Mitama stared at it silently.
"Klee…are you sure this is just a bomb your mom left behind?"
Even with Jade Shield, surviving at the epicenter would mean grievous injury.
Alice truly was terrifying.
In the group livestream, silence reigned.
Kamisato Ayaka finally whispered:
"Can a bomb really reach this level? I still really like the Naganohara fireworks. Now—I seem to understand, at least a little, why the Raiden Shogun established the 'Fire Brigade.'"
Kamisato Ayaka paused, then added calmly,
"It seems this was truly necessary."
Sangonomiya Kokomi: "Is… is this still the kind of bomb I imagined? This level of power is far too terrifying. One such explosion could wipe out tens of thousands of soldiers—"
Yae Miko: "Such bold creativity is hardly advisable. If this were deployed in war, then the Resistance would truly become a Resistance."
Raiden Makoto: "In the end, they are still Inazuman citizens. If possible, they should be captured alive. Let us put this bomb aside—its power is excessive. Ordinary people would not survive contact with it."
Maha Rukkhadevata: "It is…quite magnificent."
Klee: "Mommy is soooo amazing!!! Klee wants to make bombs like that too!!!!!"
Albedo: "..."
Kuki Shinobu: "Mm. I think I understand Albedo's pain now."
Albedo: "No. You don't. But compared to Alice…Klee's level of destruction is indeed much smaller."
Venti: "@Azhdaha, tell me honestly—does this look like something a child should be playing with?"
Azhdaha: "What's the problem? Aren't these just fireworks for children?"
Guizhong: "It looks so interesting! When I'm revived, I'll drag Cloud Retainer and Ping along and make some together!"
Azhdaha: "What?! No! Guizhong, absolutely not! Mechanized arts alone are already enough to occupy you for a lifetime!"
Zhongli: "..."
Venti: "Hahahahaha—still, with this, those Abyss Order members will be mostly dead or severely injured. With Futsu Mitama's strength, breaking through will be no issue."
Aila: "Phew… this is truly satisfying."
Keqing: "This bomb is…rather good. The Chasm seems to be lacking weapons of this level."
Keqing: "@Klee, Klee, can you make a Jumpy Dumpty that's just a little weaker than the one in the live broadcast?"
Klee: "A little weaker? How much weaker? Klee can make lots and lots of kinds of Jumpy Dumpty!"
Keqing: "Something that can blast apart extremely hard rock formations would be sufficient."
Klee: "Oh! Klee understands! But Klee is still fighting bad guys! After the bad guys are defeated, Klee will help Sister Keqing make bombs!"
Albedo: "Ah."
Keqing: "I'll pay mora, Albedo. Don't worry."
Albedo: "That's not what I'm worried about… sigh…"
Yae Miko: "Hahahahaha~ You don't want Klee to gain even more bomb-making experience, do you? I understand, I understand~"
Yae Miko's eyes narrowed slightly.
"But now, it seems the little fellow can finally begin moving again. The bomb's power is visibly waning. Let's see if there are any stragglers left."
Raiden Makoto: "There is no need for mercy toward the Abyss Order. Eliminate them quickly, then find a way to leave this wretched place."
Maha Rukkhadevata: "The Abyss is not somewhere one should linger. If departure is possible, it must be done swiftly."
Futsu Mitama glanced at the scrolling messages in the Chat Group's live broadcast and gave a faint nod. He, too, had no intention of remaining in the Abyss any longer.
The oppressive pressure here was unmistakable—an ever-present weight pressing down upon the senses. Elemental energy was sluggish and unresponsive, while another kind of power permeated the surroundings instead.
Abyssal Power.
That was the energy most active here—and precisely the one Futsu Mitama dared not touch.
Anyone who meddled with Abyssal Power eventually became—distorted. The Abyss Order, Dottore, Black Aila—every one of them was a living example.
He could not afford to remain here for long. Assimilation was not an impossibility.
With that in mind, Futsu Mitama lifted his gaze toward the distance. The mushroom cloud was slowly dissipating, its destructive force weakening at a rate visible even to the naked eye.
Within the blast radius, several silhouettes could be seen kneeling on the shattered ground.
The residual shockwaves had yet to fade completely, and Futsu Mitama could not yet discern who remained alive.
But hesitation had never been part of his nature. In the next instant, lightning surged.
Futsu Mitama transformed into a streak of violet light, Musou Isshin condensing in his grasp as he charged straight toward the Abyss Order.
Strike while the iron is hot.
Futsu Mitama was petty. Since the Abyss Order had attempted to kill him, he had no intention of letting a single one escape.
He would erase them all—here and now.
"You—Futsu Mitama!!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!"
A figure noticed him at last.
It was an Abyss Lector. Ominous, dark-purple Abyssal power erupted violently from his body as his reason collapsed entirely. He stomped down with all his strength.
Boom—!!
The ground split apart. Two water blades formed in his hands as he lunged forward, screaming hoarsely,
"Abyss—grant me new life! Destruction—unstoppable!!!!"
"You cannot kill us!!! Our ideals are greater than death!!!"
"Today! For the sake of the Order, you will die here! Archon's dog—die!!!!"
Clang—!!
The twin blades collided head-on with Musou Isshin. In the next moment, the Abyss Lector was forced back several steps, his footing unstable. Once, this very Lector had been able to fight Futsu Mitama evenly—had even faintly suppressed him.
Now, though his aura remained fierce after surviving Alice's bomb, his actual strength told a different story.
It was pitiful.
"Impossible… absolutely impossible!!" His voice trembled with disbelief. "Weren't you exhausted?! Why?! Why is this happening?!"
He could not understand. He had been gravely injured by that monstrous explosion—yet by all logic, Futsu Mitama should have been completely drained as well.
And yet, in their latest clash, he was the one repelled.
It made no sense.
"You know nothing of my strength."
Futsu Mitama looked down at him, expression calm, voice utterly indifferent.
"And you know even less about how many people stand behind the enemy you chose."
With the Chat Group at his back, Futsu Mitama was never alone. Backed by them, he could draw upon items, weapons, and power beyond conventional limits. With that advantage—
How could an Abyss Lector hope to contend with him?
Unless the Prince himself or those multiple elements lector and herald descended, Futsu Mitama saw no reason to fear the outcome of this battle.
