Chapter 70 - Chapter 69: The Fang Bared Toward the World

"Insane… he scored that fast, even against world-selection players."

Kunigami stared at the scoreboard, stunned by how quickly Ryan had put Blue Lock in the lead.

Aryu pushed up his glasses, calmly analyzing:

"An unprecedented level of coordination…

Instant chemistry formation.

They've bared their fangs toward the world."

Even the world-star players couldn't help reacting.

"Damn impressive."

"So they're not pushovers after all."

Blake casually wrapped an arm around Silva's shoulder.

"You owe me twenty grand."

Silva's face twisted.

He clearly knew he lost the bet.

"Tch… yeah, yeah. I get it."

Luna walked over, curious.

"So what happened just now?

Did you underestimate him or what?"

Silva replayed the scene in his mind

Before the Goal: Silva vs. Ryan

From the moment the match began, Silva had charged straight at Ryan.

"Listen, kid.

I've got twenty grand riding on stopping you.

So do me a favor

don't even think about touching the ball today."

"You should've just given me the twenty grand.

I'd at least pretend to lose gracefully."

Ryan stared at the charging black-tank striker without fear.

Not a hint of hesitation.

He stepped forward

Meeting force with force.

Silva grinned.

This skinny teenager wanted to body him?

He imagined Ryan bouncing backward, ragdolling through the air.

But when their bodies collided

Silva's eyes went wide.

What the ?

Even with all his strength behind the charge,

Ryan didn't move.

Not an inch.

It felt like slamming into steel plating.

No worse.

It was like hitting a wall that hit back.

How…

How could a teenage kid possess physical strength comparable to Premier League defenders

or even exceed them?

"You done warming up?

Need a break?

Want me to pause the match so you can grab a snack?"

Ryan mocked him with an almost bored tone.

But the truth was

Ryan was using every muscle in his body at maximum output.

Everything was tight, tense, focused.

This was the first time he'd ever used his body at full power…

and still stayed composed.

World-class players, huh…

As expected… this is fun.

He grinned inwardly.

Let's see just how far I can push my Oxygen Zone.

Ryan's Field Vision Expands

While wrestling Silva's massive frame,

Ryan continued analyzing the field

a habit he learned from Rin.

Rin's awareness wasn't enough to outshine world-class players,

but combined with Ryan's monstrous speed, strength, reflexes, and flexibility

It became terrifying.

Ryan saw Bachira running on the wing,

Cavasoz chasing him,

Blake blocking the front.

There was only one option: pass.

But Chigiri was also sprinting toward the box.

A perfect moment for a through-ball

Except Loki was nearby.

With Loki's speed, he'd catch Chigiri instantly.

Ryan's perspective suddenly rose.

As if the entire field expanded beneath him.

An overhead view.

The same godlike perspective Rin and Isagi experienced.

So this is what their battlefield looks like…

Pretty good.

Ryan scanned the field swiftly.

On the far side of the box

an empty space.

No defenders.

If he got there,

Bachira would feel it.

He'd send the ball.

Ryan made his decision in an instant.

"Move."

He broke free, accelerating toward the open zone.

Silva desperately tried to hold him back

But Ryan's acceleration was overwhelming.

In seconds, their positions flipped.

Ryan pulled ahead

half a body, then a full one.

Silva was reduced to hanging off him like a koala, his arm barely reaching Ryan's chest.

But it didn't matter.

Ryan burst into the open zone

Exactly as he predicted, the ball came flying in.

Perfect timing.

Ryan didn't slow down.

No fancy tricks.

He lifted his leg

And hit it.

Goal, Just as the Play Predicted

The shot screamed forward, denting from the force.

The ball tore into the goal net, spinning violently.

Silva still clung to Ryan's side like a decorative attachment.

Back to the Present

Silva snapped out of the memory, face stiff.

Luna studied him.

"Well? Were you slacking off?"

Silva couldn't say it.

What am I supposed to tell them?

That I lost a physical battle to a teenager?

That he's stronger than Premier League defenders?

He stayed silent.

Luna shook his head, then addressed the whole team.

"Looks like Ego wasn't lying.

Ryan's the real deal.

His teammates aren't bad either.

Enough playing around."

He smirked

"If we don't get serious,

people will start laughing at us."
