Chapter 132 - Chapter 132 Dutch Spider: What do you mean my dad has become me?

Gwen asked Peter a few more questions and generally understood the situation.

Although Little Spider's general experiences in this timeline were similar to those of The Amazing Spider-Man, the details were completely different.

Firstly, he was Dr. Connors's student himself, not someone who found Connors through photos left by his father.

Secondly, his relationship with Gwen Stacy was more than friends but less than lovers.

It had originally developed into a romantic relationship, but the young man heard her father cursing Spider-Man and, in a fit of anger, argued with him.

In Gwen's impression, Peter would confess his identity next, but he didn't here.

Peter did not reveal that he was Spider-Man; instead, he chose to conceal it.

Also, due to the conflict with Gwen's father, their relationship could not continue.

Of course, the funniest thing Gwen thought was that Gwen's father, George, actually had a better relationship with Spider-Man now.

After all, when he was attacked by Dr. Lizard, it was Spider-Man who desperately helped him block the attack, and many Police officers in the New York Police Department were turned into Lizard Men by Dr. Lizard, and it was Spider-Man who saved them with the antidote.

It must be said that the current Peter indeed had the flavor of an old-school superhero.

To get Gwen Stacy to help him retrieve the antidote, Peter contacted her as Spider-Man.

This led to the current Gwen Stacy knowing both Peter and Spider-Man.

It's just right, absolutely perfect!

Gwen crossed her arms, leaning against the edge of the desk, her fingertips unconsciously tapping the surface. After getting information about the villain and Harry from Peter, she smiled contentedly and waved her hand, "Alright, you've had a tiring day. Go home and rest."

Peter scratched his head, his eyes full of confusion. He opened his mouth as if to ask something, but seeing Gwen's calm expression, he ultimately just nodded, "Okay, Boss, I'll be leaving now."

He turned to pick up his jacket from the chair, about to leave.

"Wait," Gwen suddenly spoke, calling out to Peter, "Are you familiar with Norman Osborn?"

"Quite familiar. Uncle Norman has always been very kind to me. I used to visit his house often."

Gwen narrowed her eyes slightly, a flicker of imperceptible shrewdness flashing within them, then she revealed a meaningful smile: "That's good. Find a time tomorrow and help me arrange a meeting with Mr. Norman. Just say I have some things I'd like to discuss with him."

"Uh... okay? I'll try to arrange it?"

"Mm, go back. Say hello to Aunt Mei for me, okay?" Gwen waved to Peter, her hair gently swaying with the movement, "Go back quickly, don't let Aunt Mei wait too long."

Peter scratched his head, also smiling as he waved his arm, then turned and left the office.

At this moment, Ethan also turned off his computer and looked up at Gwen: "The large-scale acquisition of Stark Industries shares has been completed. I'm going back to rest now too."

Gwen, knowing how much of a capitalist she was, said nothing: "Thank you for your hard work, Ethan. See you tomorrow."

Ethan nodded slightly, picked up his jacket, and walked out of the office, closing the door behind him.

Only Gwen remained in the office, slumping in her chair, her fingertips unconsciously twirling a pen.

Just then, the space suddenly rippled, like a stone dropped into a calm lake, and a sparkling portal slowly opened before her.

Dr. Paradox stepped out wearing a white lab coat, a smile still on his face.

"I'm back."

And after he stepped out, the portal behind him rippled, and the golden sparks at the edges slowly retracted like a receding tide, finally turning into a speck of light and vanishing into the air.

Gwen sat up straight, her eyes filled with curiosity: "How was your visit to Sorcerer Ancient One?"

She stopped twirling the pen in her hand and looked at Dr. Paradox attentively.

Dr. Paradox smiled at this, then went to the Water dispenser and poured himself a glass of Water.

"I had a lot of fun. Although most of it was magic-related books and items, you know, one method leads to ten thousand."

As he said this, as if remembering something, Dr. Paradox clapped his hands and pulled out a stack of papers from behind him: "Oh, right, I also brought back the things you asked for."

What he handed over was a thick stack of printed papers, neatly written with strange characters in ink.

Gwen raised an eyebrow as she took it, glanced at the contents, and nodded.

It contained information related to dimensional demon gods, as well as how a dimensional demon god provides energy to its followers.

"Thanks," Gwen smiled and nodded to Dr. Paradox, then turned and walked into her office.

She locked the stack of documents containing information about the dimensional demon gods into a drawer in her office, and only after confirming the lock made a soft "click" did she turn and walk out.

In the office, Dr. Paradox was leaning against the dining table in the lounge area, holding a metal thermos cup, with wisps of hot steam rising from its opening.

Seeing Gwen come out, he looked up at her, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.

Gwen raised an eyebrow, her gaze falling on his face: "What are you smiling about? So mysterious."

She pulled over a chair and sat opposite Dr. Paradox.

Dr. Paradox took a small sip of Water, his Adam's apple bobbing a few times, then shook his head: "I'm not laughing at you. I heard a more interesting story from Ancient One."

Gwen said nothing, just smiled as she looked at Dr. Paradox.

Dr. Paradox put down the thermos, cleared his throat, and lowered his voice: "Didn't you tell me about something that would happen to Tony in the future?"

Gwen nodded: "Yes, what about it?"

That was the story Gwen had spoiled when Tony Stark was making the Iron Man Suit.

Dr. Paradox crossed his arms and looked directly at Gwen: "That is indeed the current future, but it wasn't before."

"What do you mean?" Gwen was bewildered when she heard this.

Her eyes were full of confusion at this moment, waiting for Dr. Paradox to give an answer.

Dr. Paradox laughed heartily and began to recount: "Once, the genius billionaire Tony Stark encountered a Terrorists ambush in the desert of Afghanistan and was ruthlessly kidnapped."

"In the dark cave, the Terrorists demanded that he make missiles for them. To escape, he used the crude parts around him, working day and night, and painstakingly built a suit of Iron armor."

"And in the process of escaping, he met someone who extended a helping hand to him."

"That was Spider-Man, who had a mixed reputation in New York City."

"In the streets and alleys, citizens cheered for his agile movements, punishing evil and promoting good, but under the media's lens, he was denounced as a masked thug who disregarded the law."

"When the pursuers' bullets rained down, Spider-Man unhesitatingly stood in front of Tony."

"Webs shot out, his figure darted around, he fought against the surging enemies alone. To buy Tony time to escape, Spider-Man exhausted his last ounce of strength and fell in a pool of blood."

"Tony grabbed Spider-Man's backpack in a panic and fled desperately. Only when he was safe did he tremble as he opened the backpack, the web-shooters and identification inside silently revealing the Master's identity."

"Tony, back in New York, built his new generation of Iron Man Suit, but to continue Spider-Man's heroic ideals and also to protect Peter's Aunt Mei, he added web-shooters to his Iron Man Suit, special adhesive material that allowed him to stick to walls without damaging the original wall structure, and at the same time changed the appearance of his armor to Spider-Man's color scheme."

Seeing Gwen's somewhat bewildered expression, Dr. Paradox laughed happily.

"And so, Spider-Iron Man was born."
