Chapter 79 - Hell Rank Dungeon

[Dungeon Hall.]

The atmosphere here was vastly different from the restricted area. It was loud, chaotic, and filled with the energy of hundreds of students looking for glory.

"Finally!! We are here!!"

Nina rushed towards the reception desk, slapping her hands on the counter, causing the receptionist to look up at her.

"How can I help you?" She asked with a smile, seeing Grace behind Nina. As an elite Student in the academy, Grace commanded respect from all in the academy, and the receptionist straightened her posture.

"We want to clear a gate!" Nina yelled with a smile.

"Ok... What gates to you plan to clear, the ice field dungeon, fire dragon dungeon, Thunder land dungeon, Mythical blade dungeon... Miss, there are a lot. Do you have any specific in mind?" The lady asked, gesturing to the massive holographic board behind her.

"Specific?" Ken was confused by the sheer volume of options.

"Well." The receptionist turned to him, understanding this was their first time. "For example. If you're looking for weapons with the thunder elements, you will take dungeons related to that element... The weapon class determined the rank of the dungeon." She explained.

"Hmm... We don't have any plans of acquiring a weapon." Phillip muttered with a thoughtful expression. He turned to his team. "If we acquire a weapon in these dungeons, we don't have to spend our points on weapons. It's not a bad idea." He said.

"Yes. You are indeed correct." Janet nodded.

The team was already in their armor, all armed, and ready.

"But... Only the leader can wield skills due to her mage bloodlines." She added, staring at Grace, then at Philip, Ken, and Nina. "While the rest of us can't... So we will need a good weapon without elemental skills, because it will be useless to us." She sighed softly.

"If we do get one, we will simply sell it."

"Umm... Hello." The receptionist called, drawing their attention. "You can only get Elemental weapons in dungeon above the beginner rank." She said, staring at their confused faces.

"How many ranks are there?" Grace finally utter a word.

"There are a total of four ranks... Beginner rank, hard rank, hell rank and hell abyss rank." The receptionist answered.

"Ok, any requirements?" She asked again.

"Yes. The Beginner rank don't have any requirements, but for the hard rank, all teammates must be above Lv25. The hell rank, all teammates must be above 55, and hell abyss, all teammates must be above 75." She said, and continued:

"This only applies to normal dungeons."

"Normal dungeons?!" The five were stunned, blinking continuously.

"Yes." The receptionist tapped on her screen, and a red gateway appeared on the monitor screen, which she then turned around to show the five. It looked ominous compared to the blue gates of the normal dungeons.

"This dungeon is known as Red dungeon... You must be at least a Lv25 to be able to clear the beginner rank, and that's with a team. Minimum of Lv50 teammates to clear the hard rank; the hell rank requires five Lv120 to complete it and lastly, Hell abyss, it requires five Lv200 above to clear it. Below that, and it'll be suicidal." She explained with a smile.

"Red dungeons... Sounds terrifying."

The six turned to the side, seeing Carl and his team walking towards them. They were decked out in elite class gears, drawing all eyes on them.

"Wow! That team made it to the core region!"

"I heard their leader is the younger Brother of one of the invincible five."

"I also heard that too, so lucky!"

The students gathered in the hall murmured amongst themselves, staring at team ten with envy and awe.

"How have you been doing, Grace?" Carl asked with a smile, exuding confidence.

"I am good. What about senior sister?" Grace asked.

"I have no idea where she is... Anyway, are you guys here to clear a dungeon?" He asked, moving his gaze from team six and the receptionist.

"Yes. We haven't decided." Nina said, resting her head on the receptionist's desk, bored by the logistics.

"Why don't we take a dungeon together!" Carl suggested with a smile.

"I heard the higher the dungeon, the more rewards we get! After everything, we share it fifty-fifty!" He added.

"Not a bad deal." Phillip nodded his head, staring at Carl's team. He could clearly see team ten was stronger than them; they even have their own healer.

"We can also gain gold coins for completing a high rank dungeon. That way, we will have more gold to exchange for points." Mitsuki said, her sword resting behind her, her gaze flat.

"Ok, what rank should we clear?" Grace finally nodded her head, staring at Carl.

"We go big!! We are ten in one team! So we will take Hell rank! Normal dungeon!" He said, turning to the receptionist.

The receptionist froze.

"Sir Carl. You need to have at least five Lv55 in your team, none of you are Lv40, let alone Lv55." The receptionist said worriedly, staring at them. If someone died in a dungeon, he or she is gone forever.

"Hahaha!! Leave it to us! We will be back!" Carl flashed a smile, dismissing her concern with a wave of his hand.

The receptionist sighed, realizing she couldn't stop them if they were determined. "Ok, Please place your fingerprint on the board, and your gateway will be ready." She said, gesturing go the board before her.

Five minutes later, everything was ready. The gateway appeared on the huge circular object in the hall, showing Hell Rank difficulty on it, with a diagram of a red skull pulsing ominously.

Amongst the stunned faces of the gathered students, the team of ten walked towards the gateway and disappeared within.

"I hope they make it, Oh No!" The receptionist's eyes widened in horror as the realization hit her.

"Why did I forget such an important detail?! Once they step into the gateway, they won't be able to come back due to the difficult, until they kill the Boss!"
