While Alexander made things clear to Rhea, Serena was welcomed by Maya and Mama who were fussing over her.
When she stepped into her apartment, Mama burst out crying as she rushed to her.
"Oh my child." She sniffed, holding her by the arms to take a good look at her. "You've suffered."
Serena rubbed her eyes. "Mama, I'm exhausted and hungry." She pouted.
"Yes, food." Mama slapped her forehead as though she blamed herself for forgetting such an important detail. She turned to Maya whose relieved gaze was fixed on Serena.
"Girl, I'll have to trouble you to serve the table." She stared at Maya..
"Of course." Maya nodded and dashed to the kitchen.
Mama led Serena to have her seat.
Once they were comfortable, she probed. "I'm glad you are fine. You have no idea how devastated I was when I learnt that you were missing."
"I'm fine now, aren't I?" Serena muttered cheekily.
