Jessica's eyes flashed. Her mind raced. She knew that if Alexander caught her, then it would be over for her. But she was unwilling. She didn't want to give Serena an easy time.
"You!" She pointed to the man who was still panicking. "Untie her. If she's with us, then there's still a possibility that we can escape."
Jessica had already calculated her plans. It was obvious Alexander cared about Serena. If she could use Serena as a hostage, there was a hundred percent chance that she could escape.
Serena didn't utter a word as she watched the man untie her. He was fidgeting, but he was still able to untie her.
She was pushed to Jessica who held her by her arms.
"What are you trying to do?" Serena whispered.
Jessica scoffed. "Isn't it clear enough?" Her voice then dropped lower. "I want to keep you hostage. You'll be my ticket to freedom."
Serena pursed her lips slightly. It appears that Jessica had totally lost her mind.
