The night lights shimmered like a bunch of twinkling stars.
At the penthouse, Zimo tightened something small in his hand, smiling sneakily. His eyes were bright as the night lamp's light reflected in them.
From the bed, his gaze drifted to the bathroom door.
A moment later, he got up and walked over.
"Gu Yuxuan!" he called, knocking.
The sound of the shower's water pouring was louder than Gu Yuxuan's voice softly answering, "Hm".
"Gu Yuxuan", Zimo called again, even though he did hear him the first time.
"What is it?" Gu Yuxuan asked, louder.
Zimo paused. He couldn't wipe away the smile from his face. "Are you done already?"
"Almost", Gu Yuxuan said through the door.
"Can I come in?"
The silence of Gu Yuxuan made him lean closer to the door.
"Gu Yuxuan", he whispered.
"I'm still busy."
"I know, but I still want to come in."
The water stopped and Zimo could hear the shower door sliding open.
"Come in", Gu Yuxuan said.
