"I won't make such a ridiculous deal with you!" Zimo yelled.
Absurd, because hearing what Wang Renshu said regarding Gu Yuxuan was just stupid. What did he mean he wanted to get close to Gu Yuxuan? What did he mean he liked him?
Zimo struggled to keep composure. The last shred of patience he still had left, fought strongly.
Opposite him, Wang Renshu smiled mildly, as if Zimo's reaction was exactly what he had been waiting for. Even though he said he wanted to get close to Gu Yuxuan, Zimo still felt like he wasn't saying what he actually wanted.
"I know you like Gu Yuxuan, but I like him too", Wang Renshu continued, looking at his hands, unbothered.
"Too bad, Gu Yuxuan will never like you!"
"Says who?"
Zimo stared at him for a moment without responding. His clenched fist slowly loosened as he took a quiet, deep breath. And then he smiled.
