Chapter 221 - Chapter 218

The morning after the Triwizard Tournament ended, Hogwarts was quieter than usual. Roy moved through the castle with measured steps, first visiting Fleur Delacour, Gabrielle Delacour, and Madam Maxime. Warm farewells were exchanged, hugs and polite bows given, as the champions and staff expressed gratitude for his guidance and support.

Next, Roy approached his grandparents, Darius and Clara Valvas, along with Grayfia Lucifuge.

"Take care of yourselves," Roy said, his tone calm but firm.

"You've done well, Roy," Clara replied, smiling proudly. Darius nodded, his usual stoic expression softened by pride. Grayfia gave a subtle, approving nod.

With that, Roy departed, boarding the Valvas family's military helicopters alongside the elite guards. The roar of the engines faded into the distance, leaving Hogwarts in a heavy, contemplative silence.

Back in the Great Hall, students trickled in for breakfast. The atmosphere was tense; whispers filled the air. Finally, Dumbledore stood, his voice carrying clearly:

"Students, Voldemort has returned. Be vigilant, and remember the courage and sacrifice of those who have fought to protect us."

Harry, seated nearby, bowed his head in thought, remembering the sacrifice and bravery of Ron Weasley. When he looked up, he took a seat at the staff table, exhausted but resolute.

Roy returned to his usual place at the Hufflepuff table, quietly observing the hall. Noticing the absence of Fred, George, and Ginny, he deduced they had already returned to the Burrow to mourn and support their family.

As he sat next to Cedric Diggory, Roy's mind wandered briefly. He thought, If Ron hadn't taken Cedric's place… Cedric might have perished. Yet, he quickly pushed the thought aside, acknowledging Ron's jealousy and altered personality from the diary's lingering effects—but chose not to dwell on it. He focused instead on the present and continued eating his breakfast, calm and collected amid the tension.
