Chapter 214 - Chapter 211

Roy stood at the very edge of the Black Lake, unseen.

Not by concealment charms…but by time manipulation, slowing his presence to a near-ghost echo.

Only one person sensed him.

Grayfia, standing beside Dumbledore, narrowed her eyes.

Grayfia (whispering):"Milord… you're interfering again."

Roy didn't respond aloud. He simply raised a finger and traced a golden rune in the air.

A divine barrier formed under the lake, surrounding Hermione and Gabrielle — a silent, invisible shield that only activated if they were in danger.

No one else noticed.

No one except the Merqueen.

Deep underwater, her eyes snapped open.

Merqueen (stunned):"The Phoenix King… watches."

Even the lake trembled.

 2. Fleur's Underwater Battle (Using Roy's Unique Magic)

Fleur dove gracefully, her fire-aura shimmering against the cold of the deep.

The Grindylows sensed Veela blood. They swarmed instantly.

She whispered Roy's spell.

"Aqua Flamme: Circulaire."

A ring of blue fire underwater exploded outward — something impossible by normal wizardry.

The Grindylows shrieked and fled.

Merfolk stared in awe.

Merwarrior:"That magic… was taught by the Phoenix King."

Fleur continued deeper, her movements perfect, calm, elegant — exactly as Roy trained her.

She reached Gabrielle first among all champions.

⚠ 3. Ron Panicking — The Potion Goes Wrong

Ron's "Forced-Gill Potion" was unstable because of the Horcrux's leftover influence inside him.

Halfway down, the potion destabilized.

His gills flickered.

His legs numbed.

He gasped— underwater.

Panic surged.

Ron (muffled scream):"HELP—"

He sank deeper, disoriented.

The merfolk moved to intervene but—

Roy gently activated his hidden barrier.

A soft golden glow wrapped Ron, stabilizing his breathing.

Ron didn't see the source.

But he felt safe for the first time in months.

4. Merfolk Reacting to Roy's Aura on Land

Even though Roy never touched the water…

His aura spread.

The entire lake hummed with ancient pressure.

Merfolk warriors froze in place.

The Merqueen bowed.

Merqueen:"A deity stands above…Not Triton…The Phoenix King has returned."

They treated Hermione and Gabrielle with exceptional care due to the divine aura surrounding them from Roy's protection.

🏁 5. Results of the Second Task

One by one, the champions reached their hostages.

✔ Fleur Delacour — FIRST

She retrieved Gabrielle fastest thanks to Roy's training and her fire-water aura.

✔ Camille Rousseau — SECOND

Fast, agile, well-trained.

✔ Harry Potter — THIRD

Despite hesitation, he stayed to help others. Merfolk respected it.

✔ Viktor Krum — FOURTH

Shark-form was powerful, but he overshot his hostage's location.

✔ Ivan Dragovich — FIFTH

Had a strong frost-bubble spell but struggled with Grindylows.

✔ Ron Weasley — LAST (6th)

He would have drowned…But the merfolk found him stabilized by "unknown divine magic" and brought him up safely.

Bagman announced the scores:

TRI-WIZARD SECOND TASK — POINTS

1st — Fleur Delacour→ 50 points

2nd — Camille Rousseau→ 45 points

3rd — Harry Potter→ 40 points

4th — Viktor Krum→ 35 points

5th — Ivan Dragovich→ 30 points

6th — Ron Weasley→ 10 points(mercy points — nearly drowned)

The crowd cheered wildly for Fleur — especially Beauxbatons.

Meanwhile, Ron sat on the platform, coughing, humiliated, realizing just how far he'd fallen.

 6. Dumbledore's Private Thank You

Later, in the empty stands, Dumbledore approached Roy quietly.

His eyes twinkled — but with gratitude, not mischief.

Dumbledore:"You interfered."

Roy didn't deny it.

Roy:"Only to protect Hermione and Gabrielle… and Ronald when he lost control."

Dumbledore exhaled.

Dumbledore:"Thank you.The world does not know how much you do for it."

Roy shrugged.

Roy:"I don't need them to know."

Dumbledore placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.

Dumbledore:"You have surpassed even me, Roy Valvas…But never lose your heart.Power means nothing without compassion."

Roy smirked.

Roy:"I'll remember that, old man."

Dumbledore chuckled.
