Chapter 202 - Chapter 199

The Girls Confront Roy — and the Second Song

As Roy lowered the flute, the final haunting notes of Lugia's theme faded into the cold December air. The Valvas guards clapped and cheered, still dancing around the fire. But before Roy could stand, he heard footsteps—many footsteps.

He turned.

Hermione, Daphne, Cho, Astoria, Cassandra, Ginny, Luna, Fleur, Gabrielle, and Grayfia stood there… arms crossed, cheeks puffed, expressions ranging between disbelief, offense, and affection.

Hermione was the first to speak.

Hermione:"ROY VALVAS! You can do that—and you didn't tell us?!"

Daphne flicked his forehead.

Daphne:"You played a whole celestial-level piece and hid it from us? Shameless."

Cho shook her head dramatically.

Cho:"We've been asking for months if you had any hobbies!"

Cassandra huffed, tugging his sleeve.

Cassandra:"You even tricked us during practice sessions. You could've played music to relax us!"

Grayfia stepped in last, silver eyes cool and piercing.

Grayfia:"Young master… hiding talents from the household is unacceptable."

But the blush on her cheeks betrayed her irritation.

Roy raised his hands defensively.

Roy:"I—I just play for stress relief! It's not something special…"

All of them yelled at the same time:

"IT IS SPECIAL!"

The Valvas guards laughed, watching their young master get scolded by ten women at once.

Students and Staff Beg Roy for Another Song

More footsteps echoed through the snow.

Hundreds of Hogwarts students, Beauxbatons girls, Durmstrang boys, and every professor—including Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, Maxime, Karkaroff, and even Filch—emerged from the darkness.

Clara and Darius stood in front, proud and amused.

Dumbledore twinkled.

Dumbledore:"My boy… it seems you have caused a school-wide migration. Any chance you might treat us to another masterpiece?"

Students shouted from behind him:

"Play again, Roy!""One more song!""Please—just one more!""BRO YOU GOTTA—THAT WAS FIRE!"

Even Snape muttered:

Snape:"…It was tolerable. Continue."

Which, from Snape, was the equivalent of glowing praise.

Roy sighed, rubbing his temple.

Roy:"…Alright. One more."

The entire crowd cheered.

Roy Plays Again — Moonlight Sonata on a KEYTAR

Roy stored his flute… and to everyone's shock, pulled out a sleek, obsidian-gold keytar.

Gasps spread through the camp.

Hermione:"A keytar?! Since when—?!"

Daphne:"Of course he has one. Of course he does."

Grayfia:"…Young master. Why do you own such a thing?"

Roy only smiled faintly.

He took a breath.

Pressed the first key.

And the opening notes of Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven) flowed into the winter night.

But this wasn't the classical version.

It was deeper.

More mystical.

A fusion of ancient magic and modern sound—haunting, resonant, echoing across the Forbidden Forest. Snowflakes vibrated with the frequency. Lantern lights flickered in sync with each chord. The fire danced higher, forming patterns in the air.

Students fell silent.

Professors closed their eyes.

Fleur shivered."It feels… sad. Beautiful… and sad."

Luna whispered:"He's playing the moon."

Grayfia stared, breath caught—this was power, precision, artistry.

Clara wiped a tear.Darius squeezed her hand.

And then—

Roy struck the final inverted chord, letting the last vibration travel through the ground like a heartbeat.

Silence.

Then the entire camp erupted.

Cheers.Applause.Screaming.Magic bursting in the air like fireworks.

Hogwarts had never felt so alive.
