Yule Ball Bonus Scene — Fred & George vs. Ron
Ron Weasley sat alone at the corner of the ballroom, sulking with a half-empty drink and a plate of food he wasn't eating.
Everyone was dancing.Everyone was laughing.Everyone was enjoying the ball…
Except Ron.
He had been rejected by every girl he asked—including Fleur and Grayfia (who both rejected him so coldly that Ron felt physically chilled for an hour).
And now he was watching Roy dance with eight girls at once.
Ron:"…bloody unfair."
That was when two shadows descended behind him.
Fred: "Well, well, well…"George: "If it isn't the Triwizard Failure himself."
Ron glared. "Oh shut up."
Fred sat on his left, George on his right, both grinning like hyenas.
The Teasing Begins
George: "So, brother dear…"Fred: "We heard you got rejected again."George: "By Fleur—"Fred: "—and Grayfia."George: "At the speed of light."Fred: "Record-breaking, really."
Ron turned red. "STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!"
Fred: "But Ron, it was impressive."George: "She didn't even let you finish the question!"Fred: "Grayfia simply said 'No.' "George: "Before you even reached her!"
Ron buried his face in his hands.
Round Two — "The Prince"
Fred leaned closer.George mirrored him.
Fred: "Meanwhile…"George: "Our dear Prince Roy—"
Ron: "DON'T CALL HIM THAT!"
Fred smirked. "The Yaksha Prince himself—"George: "—walks in with eight dates."Fred: "Dances with all eight."George: "At the same time."Fred: "Using time magic."George: "While you…"Fred: "Sit here."George: "Eating chicken."
Ron: "I'M NOT EVEN EATING IT!"
Round Three — The Inevitable Punchline
Fred: "Ron."George: "Ronald."Fred: "Brother."George: "Champion."
Ron looked up hopefully.
"Really?"
Fred & George together:"You are a bigger threat to dragons than to women!"
Ron choked on his drink.
"You—YOU TWO—SHUT UP!"
People turned to look.
Fred: "He made a dragon break its chains—"George: "—just by being near it!"Fred: "That's talent."George: "Terrifying talent."
Ron slammed his cup down.
"I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT!"
Round Four — The Final Blow
Fred: "Cheer up, Ron."George: "There's still hope."
Ron blinked. "Really?"
Fred took a deep breath.
George placed a dramatic hand on Ron's shoulder.
Both, in fake-serious voices:
"Next year, try asking the dragons instead."
Ron: "AAAAAARGH!!!"
