Chapter 194 - Chapter 191

Breakfast in the Great Hall felt… wrong.

The students of all three schools — Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang — chatted, laughed, and ate, but there was a strange heaviness in the air. A tension they couldn't name.A pressure they didn't understand.

At the teachers' table:

Dumbledore sat unusually quiet.

Madam Maxime tapped her finger nervously.

Karkaroff kept glancing at the doors.

Snape, McGonagall, Flitwick, and Sprout all showed signs of restrained anxiety.

Darius Valvas and Clara Valvas were stiff, unreadable.

Grayfia's face was calm, but her eyes were sharp and alert.

Even the most oblivious students whispered:

"Why… do the teachers look like they're preparing for a funeral?"

Others murmured:

"Something big happened… something dangerous."

In truth, the adults all feared the same thing—

A muggle–wizard war that could ignite any hour.

The kidnapping of the British and French princes had the entire royal world on edge. The wrong move… and the secrecy between worlds would shatter.

But then—

The doors of the Great Hall burst open.

Valvas guards marched inside, their armor gleaming, led by their captain.

Every teacher went still.Every head turned.

The captain stopped in front of the teachers' table and bowed deeply.

"Lord Darius. A letter—faxed directly from the Valvas central network. Marked urgent."

The entire hall held its breath.

Darius Valvas accepted the envelope. His fingers pressed against the seal for a moment — he inhaled sharply — then opened it.

He read.

His expression froze.

Then slowly…

A smile.

A slow, deep, relieved smile spread across his face.

Clara Valvas leaned in anxiously.Dumbledore leaned from the other side. Both read over Darius's shoulder.

Both exhaled with visible relief.

Clara placed a hand over her heart.

Dumbledore closed his eyes, shoulders finally relaxing.

They smiled.

A pure, grateful smile.

The tension melted from their bodies.

Clara whispered, "He did it… our Roy."

Dumbledore murmured, "The war has been averted. The balance is preserved. Thank Merlin…"

Grayfia's eyes softened. Her beloved young master was safe — and victorious.

Students Whisper, Confused

From the tables below, students stared.

"Why are they smiling suddenly?""Did something good happen?""They looked terrified a moment ago!"

The younger students had no idea how close the world had come to burning.

Classes Resume

Once breakfast ended, the students were dismissed for lessons.

The moment the last student left the hall, every professor and the two visiting principals rushed toward the Valvas elders.

Dumbledore gestured, "We will speak freely now."

Madam Maxime demanded gently, "Darius… what happened? The tension—has it resolved?"

Karkaroff's voice shook slightly, "Is the… situation under control?"

Snape crossed his arms, but his eyes betrayed worry.McGonagall looked pale.

Darius calmly handed them the letter.

One by one, the professors and principals read it.

Their eyes widened.

Their bodies sagged in relief.

Flitwick sat down in a chair, muttering, "Bless the lad…"Sprout wiped her eyes.McGonagall whispered a shaky, "Thank heavens…"Snape looked away — but even he exhaled slowly.

Madam Maxime placed a hand over her mouth, stunned.

Karkaroff whispered, "Valvas… your heir is frightening. And a blessing."

Dumbledore nodded.

"Roy Valvas has single-handedly prevented a catastrophic war."

Darius folded the letter.

"Fenrir Greyback is dead. Every child kidnapped has been rescued. The British and French royals have received their heirs. No information will be released to the public. The world is safe."

Clara added proudly yet softly:

"Roy has saved not only the royal families… but the entire wizarding world."

A profound silence followed — the silence of gratefulness.

Then came the unspoken truth:

They all owed Roy Valvas a debt too large to repay.
