Chapter 186 - Chapter 183

The arena gates rumbled open for the second match.

The crowd leaned forward with anticipation as the announcer called:

"Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons!""Ronald Weasley of Hogwarts!"

The stands erupted—Beauxbatons glowing with confidence, Hogwarts… significantly less so.

Fleur Delacour — Grace Before Fire

Fleur stepped into the arena with the calm of a queen.

Her silver-blonde hair flowed behind her, magic shimmering around her like warm summer light. Her eyes locked onto her dragon —

The Common Welsh Green.

The dragon roared.

Fleur did not flinch.

Instead, she inhaled softly… and unleashed her Veela heritage.

A warm, mesmerizing aura rolled from her like soft music. The Welsh Green blinked once. Twice. Its body lowered a fraction.

Then Fleur acted.

Her wand swept forward—A sleeping charm infused with Veela enchantment spiraled out in blue and gold feathers of magic.

The Welsh Green resisted for a moment…Then dropped its head with a heavy THUD.

Fast asleep.

The entire stadium gasped.

Madam Maxime proudly wiped a tear.Karkaroff muttered, "Impressive."Darius Valvas, Clara Valvas, and Grayfia nodded with approval.

Fleur delicately retrieved her golden egg.A perfect execution.

Ron Weasley — Disaster in Motion

At the opposite side, Ron stood shaking in front of—

The Norwegian Ridgeback.

Smoke curled from its nostrils. Its tail smashed the ground, throwing rocks everywhere.

Ron's wand shook like a twig in a storm.

"St–Stupefy!" he yelled.

Nothing happened.

The dragon glared.

Ron panicked and fired random spells — jinxes, sparks, weak disarming charms, even a stinging hex. None harmed the Ridgeback, but the dragon grew more and more irritated.

But Ron…oh Ron…

believed he was winning.

He finally took aim —"Take this! Reducto!"

The spell MISSED the dragon completely…

…and hit the chain holding the Ridgeback.

A loud SNAP echoed.

The chain broke.

The crowd gasped.

Ron, who didn't even look behind, strutted toward the golden egg proudly—

"I DID IT! I'M A—"

He grabbed the egg…

…and walked straight out of the arena.

The Moment Everything Went Wrong

The Norwegian Ridgeback's roar shook the entire arena.

Its wings snapped open, chains falling away. It swung its head wildly, searching for prey—For vengeance.

At the same moment, the Welsh Green, disturbed by the Ridgeback's roars and movement, shook awake. Its frozen chains cracked.

Both dragons turned—toward the nearest target.

Fleur Delacour.

She was only a few meters from the exit.

Her legs froze.

Her breath caught.

Her heart pounded like thunder.

Two dragons.Unchained.Charging toward her.

She squeezed her golden egg and closed her eyes.

( I won't even be able to tell Roy how I feel… )

The Judges' Panic

Madam Maxime screamed.Dumbledore shot to his feet.Karkaroff cursed. The Triwizard Committee scrambled for wands.

But they were too slow.

Too far.

Too late.

"RON WEASLEY! YOU ABSOLUTE—" someone screamed from the Hogwarts stand.

Students panicked.Teachers shouted spells. The entire arena descended into chaos.

Everyone believed Fleur Delacour was about to die.

Then a Shadow Fell From the Sky

A single figure leapt from the judges' platform—

Roy.

He floated effortlessly, eyes calm, aura heavy enough to make even the dragons hesitate.

His hand gripped the hilt of his Zanpakutō.

Ryūjin Jakka.

A whisper escaped his lips:

"Bankai."

Heat swallowed the arena.Air shimmered.Every flame in the vicinity bowed to him.

The dragons never stood a chance.

In a single, controlled sweep—Fire roared silently from Roy's blade, engulfing both beasts.

No explosion.No chaos.

Just instant, absolute annihilation.

When the flames faded…

All that remained were ashes.

Fleur Opens Her Eyes

She expected fire. She expected pain. She expected death.

Instead—

A warm hand gently pat her head.

She opened her eyes slowly.

Roy stood before her, floating in the air, surrounded by drifting ash like falling snow.

Fleur couldn't stop herself.

She threw her arms around him and sobbed into his chest, trembling.

He rested his hand on her back.

"It's okay. Everything is fine."

The crowd erupted.

Judges exhaled in relief.

Reactions from the Stands

Madam Maxime broke into tears and hugged Clara Valvas.

Karkaroff stared in fear and respect.

Dumbledore smiled proudly at Darius.

The students chanted Roy's name.

Every Beauxbatons girl vowed to send Fleur a bodyguard squad.

Hogwarts students screamed that Roy was a monster—in a good way.

Death Eater spies fled Hogwarts that night.

Someone whispered from the stands:

"The Yaksha of Valvas… he's real."

The name spread instantly.

Judges' Scoring Fleur Delacour

Every judge, moved by her bravery and skill, lifted their wand and shot 10 golden sparks into the air.

Fleur Score: 80/80 (Perfect)Even Ron's stupidity couldn't take her glory away.

The judges glared at him as if deciding whether to fail him or imprison him.

Some gave 2

Some gave 1

One judge gave 0 (Karkaroff)

Hogwarts booed.Durmstrang laughed.Beauxbatons ignored him entirely.
