Chapter 4 - Mind Craft

Ms. Fiona comes in and starts English class. I love English, but it just reaches a point where your favorite subject becomes boring.

And that's what it is today. So in order to change that, you have to partake in the activities.

"Alright children, open your textbook to page 167 and read the passage." She says, flipping through her textbook. We follow suit and I volunteer to read. "Go ahead, Molly."

"An Introduction To College Life." That reads the topic. "It's quite exciting how I got to graduate from high school and now, I'm in college. I didn't fit in very well, but I managed to cope . . . Yes, I will admit that college life can become exciting, but it comes with its challenges. Some of which are hard to face and others are super easy to go through." I say.

"The best part is that you get to try out new things, make friends and have some fun. Although, it may have some ups and downs, I do not regret my consistency, my fights and determination to make it out of college." I finish and sit back down, receiving an applause from the class.

I feel like I'm the class celebrity after reading that and getting an applause from the class.

"Thank you, Molly, for that fluent reading. Now class, you'll go back home and answer the questions below. To be submitted tomorrow before the third period."

The day goes by smoothly. Luckily, Tyler and her blind minions don't attack me and I know that won't last for long. Sooner or later, they'll come looking for who to pry on.

It's finally the best time of the day, lunch. I head to the cafeteria and pick my food. I love ramen. It tastes so good especially when it's spicy. I also take a coffee. I sit at the table close to the back door, the one for the low class. Not that I'm not classy, I just like it there since no one ever comes there.

Who would want to be called a low class?

While eating, I take a look at my environment and I see that intruder, Jason.

Well, if it isn't Jason Derulo, who else will it be? He walks in and I notice a few girls murmur. It's not like he's that famous, he's human like all of us. I see no difference and no reason why girls are sticking to him like glue. It's very annoying. But I won't let that ruin my day. While eating, I use this time to create my world.

I want to add my imaginary house, where I can stay. It'll be like the real one but it's gonna better imagined. Then, I'll have a school that I will not attend but I will be the headmistress.

"Molly, hi."

"Hmm?" I hum looking up to find Stella staring at me joyously. Why is she here? People rarely come here, so what does she want? "Oh hi, Stella. What's up?"

"Oh it's nothing." She says, smiling from ear to ear while looking at me.

"Stella, something's definitely up. Tell me."

"Oh well, I guess I should. You see there's a party that is going to be held in a few days from now, so I thought I should invite you." She says still smiling with her cute do e eyes.

"I dunno, Stella. I'll think about it."

"Okay, don't delay. Bye." She says running back to where she came from.

Now, that was odd. Who's hosting the party? Well, I just hope it's not Tyler.

I eat up and leave for the last class of the day, biology.

🌟🌟🌟

After my class, I go to the gates. Surprisingly, I didn't see Tyler and her sidekicks. The sky turns grey, another rainy day. I sigh and take out my umbrella and begin walking. I'm not gonna use a cab back home, I don't feel like spending money on myself. I'm going to take Oliver out.

"Molly, wait up." A voice calls out and I do not wait up 'cause I know whose voice that is. It's Jason's. What now?!

Please just go away. I continue walking till he reaches me and walks by my side.

"Hey, I said wait up." He says and I don't reply. "Hmm, lemme guess, you're stressed up?" He asks and I still don't answer. The rain starts pouring and I open up my umbrella. Jason joins and I just stay mute. We reach home in silence and I shut the door behind us.

"Oliver, I'm home." I call out and Oliver comes running downstairs. "We're going out."

"Really?" He asks, his eyes beaming with excitement. "Yay! Let me go change into something nice." He says, running upstairs.

"So, uhm Molly, aren't you going to change up?" Jason asks and I look at him, my expression blank.

"You still haven't given me any sort of explanation." I say.

"Oh, about that, I'll tell you but now is not the right time." He says.

"Your wish." I say, standing up and walking to my room. I take off my uniform and take a shower. All done with the shower, now for the main dress up. I pick a baby pink crop top with a black woolen sweater and cargo jeans. No makeup applied, just the natural look I have. I let my hair fall down gracefully on either sides of my shoulders.

I get an extra sweater for Oliver incase it gets too cold. I head downstairs only to see Oliver and Jason playing with each other. My lips curve upwards, forming a smile. My gaze lingers on Jason as he is not wearing his uniform. Is he coming with us? I hope not.

"Alright, I'm ready. Let's go." I say, grabbing my keys, my wallet, my phone and my head warmer. We go outside and I lock the door behind us. We call a cab and move to the restaurant. It'll be a thirty minute drive.
