Nadia's POV
The man standing before me was Colter Dolf, and despite his undeniable attractiveness, my experience had taught me that handsome men were often the most dangerous. They harbored the deepest darkness and twisted desires.
The older, less appealing clients simply wanted release, but the younger ones like him were truly sinister.
I pressed myself against the bed frame, trying to create distance, and he merely lifted an eyebrow in response.
His features were sharp and cold, with lips that seemed unaccustomed to smiling, yet something strange caught my attention. His eyes held an unexpected softness, a kindness that didn't match the rest of his intimidating presence.
This had to be a tactic to lower my defenses before he struck without warning.
I had been fooled too many times before, and I refused to fall for such manipulation again.
"I introduced myself, little wolf," he said, taking what seemed like a subtle step backward, though I caught the movement.
