Shen He received the notification from Accelerator just as Loki had been rescued.
Thor had failed to catch Loki, but he did bring back a prisoner.
Thanos' adopted daughter, Nebula, seemed to have been tasked with intercepting Thor, and she obviously succeeded.
"Shen He, Loki escaped."
Thor flew back, choking Nebula. The cyborg had lost an arm and a leg, with many parts of her body charred black. It seemed she had been through a terribly brutal fight.
"I already heard from Accelerator," Shen He sighed. "I didn't expect that scepter to be so powerful, even affecting your will, Thor. Is it some kind of treasure from Asgard?"
"No," Thor said, frustrated. "I should have known. Loki didn't take any weapons when he left the realm. That scepter was given to him by Thanos."
"Regardless," Shen He looked at Nebula, who had been tossed onto the ground, "I think we need to prepare for the worst. Chaldea is ready..."
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, people began appearing behind him.
Kusuo Saiki, Jeanne d'Arc, Shiki Ryougi, Violet Evergarden, Misaka Mikoto Alter, and Accelerator.
All of them were wearing the long robes of Chaldea.
When they all appeared together, even Thor had to admit that this was a very strong team.
However, he didn't think it had come to that.
"We just need to find Loki and get back the Tesseract," Thor said confidently. "Once the Bifrost is repaired, no foreign army will be able to threaten Earth."
"Thor, Earth can't always rely on being protected," Shen He shook his head, but didn't say anything further.
Being protected too well wouldn't be good for Earth.
This war was also a journey of transformation for Earth.
"Jeanne, see if you can find Loki," Shen He turned and said.
Jeanne closed her eyes and began to pray.
Hoping the Lord would grant her a revelation.
Suddenly, a picture of the vast starry sky appeared in her mind, with a huge and slow mechanical dragon, scrambling to enter a small hole. On the other side of the hole were her companions in battle.
This future represented by the picture was very close!
"Master." Jeanne suddenly opened her eyes.
"He, I've seen Loki. He's broken into my building."
Thor's voice suddenly cut in, interrupting Jeanne. He had directly taken control of the Jarvis subsystem in the villa.
The opened virtual screen showed a helicopter carrying equipment landing on top of Stark Industries Tower. Loki was standing in the helicopter, along with a group of people he had controlled and Dr. Selvig.
The war was really about to begin.
Shen He perked up, feeling a bit excited.
Regardless of whether he knew about, or even planned, all of this in advance, this was, after all, a war between humanity and Aliens!
"Thor, put on your armor and get away from there! We're coming right away!" Shen He instantly went into action. "Notify Coulson and Steve, and have them evacuate the crowds with all their might. At the same time, have the Virtual Reality Company immediately issue a stern warning. We need to let people, let the world, know the truth and prepare for war."
This was different from battles that only belonged to heroes in the past.
This time, it was a disaster faced by all of humanity. Shen He was ready to make it a carnival for all of humankind.
Almost as soon as the order was given, a beam of light pierced the sky above New York on the screen.
"Odin's beard."
Thor clenched his hammer at the sight, then turned and strode out.
He had made up his mind; this time, he would show Loki no mercy.
At the same time, people on the streets stood up.
They looked up at the beam, completely unaware of what was happening, until a huge, gaping hole appeared in the clouds where the beam had struck. Then, one after another, dense small flying vehicles emerged from it.
Then came the shooting and explosions from the sky.
This was an attack without any warning. Most people were in a daze, as if in a dream, until real destruction appeared around them, and they screamed in terror and fled in all directions.
"Jarvis, activate all the armors in the 'factory', and then get me into television, radio, and all the advertising platforms."
Thor watched all this, finding himself calmer than he'd expected, so calm that a fire seemed to burn in his chest.
Come on, war. After defeating you, Earth will be reborn in fire.
The efficiency of the artificial intelligence was undoubtedly extremely high. Many ordinary workers in the virtual reality company hadn't even understood what was happening when they saw one after another of the white and blue IS Armor take off from the factory, the company's core. They soared into the sky, roaring with flames.
But their hesitation was only a short time, because soon the piercing alarm sounded throughout the company, even further throughout the city.
Queens, Klubrin District, Bronx, and Manhattan.
All public television, radio, and advertising spaces in the entire city, even people's phones and computers, everything around them was broadcasting about the void above New York and the endless legions pouring out of it, as well as Iron Man, who was engaged in battle with the enemy.
"An Aliens legion has invaded, they have started a war."
Shen He's heavy voice reached everyone through these media channels.
"This is not a joke. Tony is in a desperate fight, and Chaldea is also rushing to the battlefield. Now, I demand that you evacuate the city in an orderly manner. We will intercept the enemy as much as possible. Captain America, Steve Rogers, will direct your orderly evacuation - the flames of war have ignited, and Chaldea will swear to coexist and die with all of humanity!"
Shen He suddenly raised his voice when he spoke the last sentence.
People who were still in a daze suddenly reacted, and after a brief silence, the entire city erupted.

The panicked people gradually calmed down.
Humans were originally such creatures, selfish yet loving, cowardly yet brave.
The worry for those they cared about could even override the fear of losing their lives.

Shen He listened to Steve's arrangements and agreed that it was the best approach.

"Are you ready for your aunt and uncle to know about your Guardian identity?" Shen He replied calmly, "If not, then be a good student, and leave New York with your family for the time being."
"…" Parker hesitated for a moment.
His aunt and uncle were the people he cared about most, and he didn't want them to worry about him.
But he was also a Guardian, and the other Guardians had already followed Captain America to the battlefield.
"Think it over. We're about to start."
Shen He glanced at the outside of the plane and hung up the call with Parker.
Thor and Tony's armor legion had arrived at the battlefield ahead of them. Explosions, flames, and thick black smoke rising everywhere could be seen between the sky and the tall buildings not far in front of them.

"They can't be considered 'people' anymore." Kusuo Saiki looked outside. "These are just controlled weapons, their thoughts are extremely chaotic; treat them as monsters and deal with them."
When he was grinding dungeons, he never held back against monsters.
In the final analysis, the unwillingness to use his superpowers to kill humans was merely a self-imposed restraint. As long as he thought it was okay to kill, then he would.

Violet Evergarden glanced at Shen He one last time before turning and flying towards the horizon.
She firmly remembered the order she had received: to eliminate the enemies outside the encirclement.
Only by quickly completing her mission could she return to her Master's side and continue fighting.
Meanwhile, Accelerator and Misaka Mikoto Alter leaped onto the high-rise buildings in their own ways. The surging black lightning and the intense sound of air explosions from their punches joined the battlefield. Both of them seemed to be enjoying the fight.
Shen He looked around.
Even with prior preparations, sacrifices were inevitable. Reality wasn't like a movie, where no matter how chaotic things got, you'd never see a single corpse.
The streets at this moment could already be described as a "disaster."
This was a real battlefield, with people who had lost parts of their bodies wailing for help, including beautiful women and young children.
Shen He didn't say anything; he was already familiar with war from the world of A Certain Magical Index.
However, he was probably partly responsible for these people's deaths now, because he could have stopped all of this.
He slowly exhaled.
"It's time to teach Loki a lesson."
Shen He looked at the Stark Industries Tower not far away, leaped high, and jumped directly onto an alien aircraft. Mimicking Black Widow from the movies, he used his spear to restrain the alien's body, violently controlling the aircraft's turn.
Meanwhile, Jeanne d'Arc looked around and decided to help the people first.
Only Shiki Ryougi held her long knife and leaped high, stepping on the tall buildings on both sides, closely following Shen He.
"Loki!"
Shen He had already seen the two fighting on the high platform and jumped down from the sky.
The spear swung, creating a piercing sonic boom.
Instead of using the sharp tip, he slammed the spear's body heavily against Loki's body, and the crisp cracking sound was particularly obvious.
The incredibly strong Asgardian had several ribs broken by a single blow.
"Thor, this portal probably can't be closed for the time being."
Shen He strode over, picked up Loki's scepter, opened the castle gates, and then threw Loki inside.
