On the other side, Michael and Mercy were seated inside the metro bound for the old town called The Ramble, on the line known as "The Graveyard Town." They already knew that because of its dark past, the name The Ramble Town had been changed to The Graveyard Town.
Michael had only just pulled Mercy into an embrace when the cold air inside the train suddenly began to grow warm. The metro's old lights started flickering violently, and a strange, hissing resonance echoed through the entire coach. Mercy immediately drew both of her blades from her waist and gripped them tightly in her hands.
"Michael… what's happening? Why are we feeling something so spiritual inside this machine built by humans?" Mercy asked in a trembling voice.
Michael closed his eyes and focused, and in the very next moment, through his powers, he understood why these strange events had suddenly begun unfolding inside the metro train.
