As Stephnie followed Claire, she realized that Claire had led her into a desolate place shrouded in deep darkness. All around, there were only the sounds of wild animals from the jungle—the hooting of owls echoing through the air. This area was colder than the rest, with icy winds blowing hard enough to make her shiver.
"Claire, where are you going? Please wait for me," Stephnie called out to her from behind.
But instead of stopping, Claire kept walking ahead without giving any response. This felt extremely strange to Stephnie, because earlier Claire had quietly called her over without letting anyone else know, and now she was moving forward without answering a single word Stephnie said.
"Claire, please stop. Lily and Christina aunty are still behind," Stephnie shouted after her and then stopped where she stood.
This time too, Claire did not reply—but she had stopped. Seeing this, Stephnie immediately hurried toward her.
