Seeing CRYO-ZOL challenge her so brazenly, Mercy was consumed by anger. She stepped forward to face Cryo-Zol and said, "No matter how powerful evil may be, its end is always death. But upon hearing Mercy's words, Cryo-Zol and the three other Supreme Commanders present there burst into laughter, dismissing her statement as if it meant nothing to them.
