Alaric looked around, but all he saw was the man's vines shooting towards him. He swung the whip desperately trying to hit as many as he could, but the man seemed to have increased the intensity.
The plant vines were coming from all directions. Alaric was still trying to decipher what the man meant by his words when he noticed it.
He was surrounded, the man had clearly set a trap that he had not noticed since he had been busy dodging the underground Vines.
" So you noticed?" The man said," It's too late anyway."
The vines started to wrap around each other. Alaric tried to destroy the connection, but it just wouldn't work. The wines had become too thick.
Alaric could see from the way the vines moved that he was being caged, and there was nothing he could do about it. He had really grown overconfident after clearing the B-class dungeon alone. He had forgotten he was just a small fish in the sea that would still be eaten by the bigger fish.
