She pulled me even closer to her, "Rachel Mom ran away and she took a lot of money with her." I felt so scared and almost screamed but I held it in.
"What are we going to do now? I asked in confusion as my mom just started laughing.
"Mom, it's not funny are we going bankrupt or not?"I asked her and she shrugged making me even more relieved as I smiled in satisfaction.
"But why is Rachel here if her mom ran away?" I asked because it was all not making any see to me but I knew asking won't change anything.
"Don't you understand? Her mom ran away and left her with us…she cried her eyes out when she saw the letter she couldn't believe her mother would do something like that to her but she had to hold it in." My mom said and for a split second I had a little pity for her but had to hold it in as I looked back and forth.
