I don't believe what I had just witnessed. I looked at Mary in confusion as she smiled awkwardly at me.
"That was why I wanted you to come to school. If you were still in the hospital trying to heal, then Jaxon would be doing this behind your back, and the funny part was he would act so naturally about it. I am sure he showed some attitude to you this morning; that is a way of him distancing himself from me before he gets close to this, witch!!"Mary said, and I couldn't help but wonder why Mary would call her such a deceitful name. She looks so rich, even richer than anything I could dream of if they joined all my assets together. It was not even half of her wealth.
