"Uhm..." I crawled out of the desk, placing my arms awkwardly in front of me.
Silas stood just a few meters in front of the door, arms folded and brows arched. The way he stared at me made me feel like I wanted to levitate.
Not in an 'aww, he's staring at me' type of way. But in a 'get me the fuck out of here' way.
This wasn't my original plan at all. He wasn't supposed to be—
"You're suddenly mute?" He chuckled, taking two steps forward. "Or do you still need time to process almost getting in trouble?"
Taking a long drag of air, I forced a smile. "I mean, you're standing there staring at me like I'm in a lot of trouble—"
"You are." He uttered plainly, taking more steps closer. "Ignoring the fact that you're technically not supposed to be here, you did something last night that... Deserves some kind of repercussions."
I tried to say something, but all I could manage was some weird sounds as my lips parted and closed repeatedly.
Fuck...
