"Hey! Someone's coming! Hide, quick!"
Minako Sanada didn't even have time to finish licking Alistair. She immediately released her grip and yanked Sae Hinata's hands away as well.
"Huh? Someone's here? But I haven't even had my turn yet~" Sae pouted in dissatisfaction, but she submissively allowed Minako to pull her away. They quickly turned Alistair and the other girl toward a nearby bookshelf, then tiptoed toward a vantage point near the elevator.
"Can you move? Someone is coming, we need to find a place to hide."
Alistair looked down at Izumi Nogami, who was sprawled across him. He gave her head a gentle pat.
"Mmm~ This time it's a draw. Next time, I'll drain you dry without mercy!" Izumi shook her head and huffed in a low voice.
"I'm asking if you can walk. It'll be trouble if we're caught like this!" Alistair felt a headache coming on. Was this girl not worried at all? Minako and Sae were out scouting, and she was just lying here?
Alistair didn't have the strength to carry her out—if he did, he wouldn't have been "pinned" by them in the first place. With Izumi slumped over him and him leaning against the bookshelf like a prop, the best he could do was drag her along slowly. But the evidence on the floor was the real problem.
He looked at the floor: several puddles of thick, sticky, white-and-red mixed fluids. Then there were those pink panties Izumi had tossed onto a nearby shelf. It was a complete mess.
"Relax. Most students wouldn't dare mess with me. My family's assets aren't the absolute top, but we're high up there. Except for the Student Council elites and the Cathedral sisters, I can have Minako and Sae deal with anyone," Izumi said nonchalantly, even snuggling closer to Alistair.
"I didn't realize you were such a big deal." Alistair was surprised. Every student at this academy came from money, but to be "top-tier" among them meant being a serious capitalist power.
"What does your family do?" he asked.
"Toys. Every toy store in this region, including the rural outlets—if it sells toys, my family owns it." Izumi smirked proudly.
"A regional monopoly? That's impressive."
"Compared to the whole city, we only hold about 18 to 20 percent. It's decent, but far from a total monopoly. However, in this specific district? Yes, it's a monopoly." Izumi was unexpectedly humble about the specifics.
"Only twenty percent?" Alistair had no concept of the city's scale; for a girl like her, twenty percent was "mid-tier."
"The real giants are the conglomerates in the city center. We just eat the leftovers. Oh? Minako and Sae are back. They look rushed... is the person coming a big shot?"
Izumi cut her explanation short as the other two girls hurried back, trying to keep their footsteps light but clearly panicked. Alistair didn't mind; he had already "marked" this girl inside and out—she wasn't going anywhere. He could learn more later.
"Clean up and hide! It's Sister Anna! She's near the entrance looking for books, but she might head this way. If she sees this mess, we're dead. Move!"
"Sister Anna? Why is she here? She hasn't visited the entertainment section in years!" Izumi grew tense, her grip on Alistair's hand tightening.
"Why are you so scared of a nun? Is her background that powerful?" Alistair asked.
"It's not just about background. It's complicated. Just hide!"
Izumi stood up on shaky legs, wobbling over to retrieve her panties and pull them back on. As for the trails of white fluid dripping onto the floor, they had to leave them. As long as they weren't caught in the act, they could deny it.
"Where to? I don't know the layout." Alistair pulled up his pants and buckled his belt.
"We'll circle around. These shelves have gaps. We just need to keep the shelves between us and her. We'll have to take the stairs," Izumi explained.
"Hmm? Is someone there?"
Sister Anna, dressed in her habit, was flipping through a book when she heard a faint sound. She called out toward the source of the noise.
Did I mishear?
She began walking toward the sound, keeping a sharp eye on the aisles.
Clink! Roll, roll, roll...
The sound of a small metal object hitting the floor and rolling was deafening in the silent library.
"Come out. Don't be nervous. It's just entertainment books; I won't scold you." Anna's voice was clear, but the only response was the sound of rolling metal.
Sniff... sniff...
Anna's nose twitched. She caught a distinct scent... the scent of 'chestnut blossoms.' It seemed students were engaging in "impure activities." She had to catch them.
Ting!
The metal object hit something and bounced a few times before stopping. Anna looked in that direction, then suddenly accelerated toward the sound.
"No one?"
She stared at the empty aisle, then quickly pivoted toward where the metal object had landed.
"Is this... a crime scene?"
Anna looked at the white puddles and the streaks of blood on the floor. Her eyes narrowed. She knelt down and wiped a bit of the pure white fluid with her finger.
"A first time? And so thick... has he never even relieved himself before? Wait... is this... healing energy? No, there's a second type. What is this?"
She felt an extraordinary healing power and another strange energy within the fluid. The male involved was clearly no ordinary person.
"Hmm? What's this? A metal ring? A strange design... a band?"
She spotted the 'Metal Ring' in the corner. She picked it up to examine it but found nothing special at first glance.
"Wait, there's energy in this? Ugh! No..."
As she tried to sense it, she realized the energy in the ring was identical to the energy she felt in the "essence." Before she could react, her mind went blank. She stood frozen like a statue.
After a long silence, the light returned to Anna's eyes. She calmly pocketed the ring and looked at the white fluid remaining on her fingertip. She put her finger in her mouth and licked it clean with a slow, rhythmic motion of her tongue.
"Hehe~"
A sickly, beautiful smile spread across Anna's face. She walked back to the puddles Alistair hadn't cleaned. She wiped up the pure white fluid with her hands and... ate it, leaving only the blood-streaked spots behind for the cleaners.
"Phew~ Good thing you had a plan, otherwise she would have cornered us."
Sae patted her chest in relief. Alistair was still confused. "Why are you so afraid of this Anna? Does she have that much power?"
They were back near the classroom buildings now, safe from the nun.
"Sister Anna has no formal authority over school affairs," Izumi sighed.
"Then why the panic? She's just a figurehead."
Alistair couldn't understand. Anna didn't look scary; in fact, she was top-tier in terms of beauty and figure—similar to Izumi but a bit larger, balanced and curvy.
"If only. She can't command us, but she can 'make suggestions' to the administration," Minako Sanada added, her usual smile replaced by exhaustion.
