Dust rolled across the horizon like a tidal wave.
From the smoke, Uchiha Madara gripped the hilt of his massive blade and drew it with a ringing clack.
The sound alone split the silence—
and even the residual edge from his swing shredded the forest of vines around him.
Step by step, the giant in blue armor advanced.
To ordinary shinobi, the scene was nightmarish—
a towering, sky-high Susanoo walking through ruin, each stride shaking the earth.
Its sword shimmered like the line between heaven and hell.
Every soul watching the video trembled.
Those who had mocked Madara before? Silent.
Those who'd sworn they could "take him in a fair fight"?
…Now sitting very, very still.
So this was Madara's true strength.
[Ōnoki: "Now you see! This—this is the might of the shinobi world's strongest!"]
[Boruto Uzumaki: "Heh. Still not as strong as Sasuke-sensei!"]
[Iwabee Yuino: "Boruto, please. Stop simping for Sasuke. He hasn't done a thing in any of these clips!"]
(Editor's note: the system cut skipped Sasuke's battle scenes, sorry.)
[Denki Kaminarimon: "Be real—Madara's stronger than Sasuke, right?"]
[Oscar: "Of course. Sasuke's a crippled has-been—maybe 'super-Kage' at best. No way he beats Madara."]
Oscar's words made the new generation murmur in reluctant agreement.
After all, Sasuke barely showed up in the footage—and missing an arm didn't help his case.
Sarada heard the whispers and felt her stomach twist.
How strong was her father, really?
She could barely remember his face.
"Enough!" Boruto slammed the table. "Sasuke-sensei only needs one hand to beat Madara!"
Sarada blinked—then smiled, just a little.
Boruto's loyalty had nothing to do with her, but somehow it still warmed her heart.
[Sasuke Uchiha: "When will the system tally me?"]
[System: "Target selection is completely random."]
The ground quaked with every step Madara took.
Even across the screen, the pressure was suffocating.
Just as everyone feared Hashirama had fallen—
a roar split the smoke.
The Wood Human surged upward, vines spiraling, tearing through the haze.
"Madara… we were friends once," Hashirama called out. "We shared the same dream!"
Madara's eyes were glacial.
"Enough. How long will you prattle your childish nonsense?"
He closed the distance, blade raised.
The tip gleamed as it poised above Hashirama's head.
"Honesty between us? Impossible."
Hashirama exhaled, resolve crystallizing.
No words would reach him now.
"Madara!!!"
"Hashirama!!!"
Sword met fist.
The impact birthed a blinding white flare that devoured everything.
Then Hashirama clapped his hands—
his chakra surging like a mountain rising beneath the sky.
Original Scene: "Summit Buddha Formation."
A colossal Buddha, nearly a kilometer tall, emerged from the fractured land,
its thousand arms gleaming like molten gold.
The entire world seemed to hold its breath.
Even through the screen, everyone went silent.
The thousand-armed deity raised its hands and struck.
Each fist was a thunderclap,
each movement a natural disaster.
Madara's Perfect Susanoo swung back, cleaving mountain after mountain—
but without the Nine-Tails,
and with his Eternal Mangekyō newly awakened,
he couldn't withstand the avalanche of fists.
The sky shattered.
They fought for a full day and night.
When the dust settled, a massive crater, hundreds of kilometers wide, lay where forests once stood.
Madara lay exhausted,
his blade half-buried in the dirt.
Hashirama knelt beside him, breathing hard.
For a long time, neither spoke—only the wind answered.
Around them, Senju warriors gathered, eyes sharp with killing intent.
Madara had lost.
The watchers were stunned.
[Boruto Uzumaki: "That fight was INSANE!!"]
[Mitsuki: "So that's how our predecessors fought? A Buddha and a Susanoo… unreal."]
[Iwabee Yuino: "I wanna be born Uchiha in my next life!"]
[Itachi Uchiha: "In that era, only Madara could face my ancestor head-on."]
[Ōnoki: "You see now? Who dares disrespect Uchiha Madara after this?"]
Silence again.
Everyone who'd ever called Madara "weak" was swallowing hard.
Other than the First Hokage, no one could have even stood on that battlefield.
"Big bro, weren't you bragging about 1v1'ing Madara?" Killer B grinned, breaking into an off-beat rap.
"'Oh yeah!'—you said—"
The Raikage's vein popped. He slugged his brother mid-rhyme.
"Shut up, idiot B! No one wants to hear your garbage bars!!"
He looked away, scowling. There was no way he'd fight that monster.
Even if he hit Susanoo, it'd be his bones that broke first.
Tsunade stared at the footage in stunned silence.
"So that's Grandpa's true power…"
She'd always thought of Hashirama as a goofy, tree-loving idiot.
Who knew her "silly old man" could summon a Buddha taller than mountains with just a clap?
Did they even need hand signs back then?!
[Itachi Uchiha: "Does Lord Madara not use hand signs?"]
[Madara Uchiha: "Hand signs? What's that?"]
[Hashirama Senju: "Hahaha! You just clap and shout, 'Come out!' That's the trick!"]
[Kisame Hoshigaki: "I have a friend who says he doesn't wanna watch anymore…"]
[Zabuza Momochi: "Bro, I had to do 44 seals for one Water Dragon Jutsu!"]
[Kakashi Hatake: "You messed up your sequence! I had to copy you three times just to fix it!"]
[Kisame Hoshigaki: "So I'm the only honest worker here?"]
[Shisui Uchiha: "Looks like it."]
Then came a shadow.
Tobirama, sword in hand, strode toward Madara's fallen body, sneering.
"So this is Uchiha Madara. Not so impressive now."
He raised the blade to strike—
but Hashirama's hand shot out, gripping his wrist with enough force to rattle the air.
"Stop, Tobirama!"
Tobirama scowled. "Brother, are you insane? Now's the perfect chance!"
"I said—don't."
Hashirama turned, killing intent flooding his eyes.
The aura hit like a tidal wave; Tobirama froze mid-breath.
He'd never seen his brother this furious.
Across the shinobi world, viewers exchanged confused looks.
Why wasn't Hashirama finishing him?
Was he… sparing Madara?
