What was with this woman?!
How did she make Sa change so drastically?
"Well, it's understandable—the child needs time to accept it."
Kiana Kaslana smiled, looking at the dazed Vita.
"..."
Vita glanced at Sa, then at Kiana Kaslana. She had a bad feeling—this woman and Sa had come here for her.
And Sa seemed to trust this woman quite a lot.
"You're not wrong."
Kiana Kaslana's words made Vita instantly uneasy!
How did this woman know what she was thinking?
Could it be Sa's authority?
Vita sighed and smiled helplessly. "You're really something, huh?"
She paused. "Can I ask—why did you come looking for me? What do you want me to do?"
"What to do?" Kiana Kaslana glanced at Sa, whom she was holding. "You two really are mother and daughter—you even talk the same way."
"But I don't need you to do anything. I'm just taking your mom away from this universe to another one—to rebuild the Purusha civilization."
"If you don't want to come with us, you can stay. I know you want freedom, and now, you already have it."
Vita turned around. "Then I'll leave right now!"
She had barely taken a few steps when Sa's voice called out.
"Vita."
Vita stopped and turned back. "My Creator, you don't want me to leave, do you?"
"No."
Sa replied coldly, "Vita, I dislike you because you remind me too much of who I used to be."
"This is my compensation for you."
As she spoke, she handed over her authority—the Eye of Heavenly Wisdom—to Vita.
Kiana Kaslana looked at Sa, who had temporarily regained most of her emotions thanks to the special Honkai energy she'd infused into her, and was surprised to see her so decisively give up her authority to Vita.
"You..."
Vita was stunned. The Sa who used to be stingy with every shred of authority, unwilling to share even the smallest part, had just given her the Eye of Heavenly Wisdom.
"Let's go."
Sa said to Kiana Kaslana.
"We're leaving. You should live well on your own! If anything happens, just call for Mom."
Kiana Kaslana opened a spatial rift, waved to Vita, and stepped into the dark void with Sa.
"Wait!"
Seeing the two disappear into the rift, Vita snapped out of her daze.
She rushed forward, but it was too late.
The rift closed.
Vita stood there blankly, the image of Sa's gentle gaze replaying in her mind.
No way.
Hadn't she already abandoned her humanity and split off her emotions?
Then how could she still show that kind of look?!
Vita bit her lip, in disbelief—but the truth was undeniable!
What had that woman done to her?!
Damn it!
They left me here all alone!
But Vita knew that woman wouldn't just abandon her.
Why?
A woman's intuition!
...
Vita waited there for a long time.
No way.
They really left me behind?!
Vita thought bitterly.
She paced back and forth, then closed her eyes, recalling the woman's last words.
Taking a deep breath, she called out, "Mom."
"Good girl, are you calling for me?"
Suddenly—
A familiar voice came from behind. Vita jolted in surprise and turned around.
Sure enough, she saw Kiana Kaslana standing there, hands clasped behind her back, smiling cheerfully.
"Is something wrong?"
Kiana Kaslana asked knowingly.
"I want to go with you."
Vita had originally meant to test her, but this woman had taken everything here away.
What meaning was there in staying behind alone?
"Mhm."
Vita looked at the dazzling smile on the white-haired girl's beautiful face and felt her fists clench.
She was being bullied—by a wicked woman!
"Come with me."
Kiana Kaslana took Vita's hand and opened a spatial rift.
The two arrived on Mars, and from there, they traveled to the Houkai Universe.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"What question?"
"Can she still recover?"
"Who are you referring to?"
"She can, of course. It's just a small issue."
Kiana Kaslana replied casually.
It was merely a matter of missing humanity and emotions—something easily fixed.
A small issue?!
Vita glanced around at her surroundings—a seemingly ordinary starry sky.
But upon a closer look, her eyes widened in shock.
What she saw—
Countless massive megastructures floating in space.
Entirely mechanized planets, warships larger than worlds, rings encircling stars, island-sized celestial bodies, and countless bizarre constructs flying to and from.
Were all these things created by her?
What kind of technological level was this?!
"These are just small toys made by my two daughters," Kiana Kaslana said.
With a reality-distortion field and being within the Houkai Universe, anything could easily be created using Honkai energy.
Small toys!
Vita's mouth twitched. She could now understand why Sa had followed this woman without hesitation—and had even generously left her the Eye of Heavenly Wisdom.
So that was why.
"Come, I'll take you to meet them and get acquainted."
...
The two vanished into the starry sky.
Kiana Kaslana brought Vita to where Bronya and Sirin were.
Just as they arrived, a star-sized explosion erupted.
The burst of light illuminated the entire void.
Kiana Kaslana casually reached out, instantly suppressing and stabilizing the energy from the exploding star.
In a flash, Bronya appeared before her.
"Mom, you're back."
She looked toward the white-robed, harmless-looking Vita beside Kiana Kaslana.
"What are you two doing?"
"My sister and I were trying to simulate a small-scale cosmic explosion to accelerate universal motion. Our universe's matter depletion is too severe—many celestial bodies have already stopped moving."
Most of the inter-universal passages Kiana Kaslana had opened were forcibly created by exchanging her own universe's matter with Honkai energy.
There was no real technique involved.
It had only worsened the already heat-dead Houkai Universe.
"There's no need to rush such things—we still have plenty of time." Kiana Kaslana pulled Vita closer and introduced her. "You should recognize her—this is Vita. The 'Vi' pronounced with a gentle bite of the lip, and the 'ta' softly flicked off the teeth."
"..."
Vita's mouth twitched at those words.
That tone, that phrasing—it was exactly how she spoke!
Why did it feel like she had no secrets at all in front of this woman?
"Hello, I'm Bronya."
Bronya nodded politely.
