Chapter 59 - Play Pretend
"I only beg that you leave my son out of this."
His face contorted with disgust. "Why would your son ever be involved in this?"
She nodded. "Louie did say—-"
"Louie."
She dragged in a breath. "Alright then, just me. You can begin. The earlier you start, Mr Lythoryn, the quicker it will be over and done with."
He was unmoving by the door but something in his eyes darkened dangerously.
It was the most emotion she had seen from him in this respect.
He. Was. Livid.
Was it because she had told him what to do? When to start the punishment? She was just tired of the confusion regarding this trip. It had to be the punishment and she would like for it to be over already.
"Do not insult me."
Confusion swirled in her brown eyes. "Insult you?"
"I am not that type of man," he stated, point-blank.
Enraged, she scoffed.
Not that type of man?
He was very much that type of man.
Very much the type of man for psychological torture.
