From the far end of the street came a thunderous rumble.
A massive figure charged forward like a living tank, smashing through concrete and debris. The Rhino Man was coming—unstoppable, wild, and unaware of the danger ahead.
Dust swirled as his enormous feet crushed the asphalt beneath him. He grinned, wild and feral, the air vibrating with his laughter.
"Move or die!" he bellowed, his voice echoing off the crumbling walls.
He had no idea that right ahead, standing calmly in the dim glow of the broken streetlights, was Breaker, his body partially covered in reinforced armor connected to the shimmering circuits of Vanderbuilt Technologies.
The Rhino Man charged without hesitation, believing nothing could stop his momentum. To him, his raw strength was law.
But this time, he was wrong.
With a deep metallic clang, Breaker caught the rhino's massive horn with one hand, stopping him cold.
The street trembled, dust and gravel flying everywhere.
For the first time, the Rhino Man's grin faded.
"What—?!" he growled, his eyes wide in disbelief. His unstoppable charge… had been stopped.
Breaker looked up, calm and emotionless beneath his visor.
"Then break it for me," he said.
With a sharp twist of his wrist, the horn cracked—a spiderweb of fractures spreading up toward the creature's skull.
In the next second, it shattered completely.
The Rhino Man screamed, clutching his head in agony.
"You—you broke my horn! You'll pay for that!"
His eyes glowed crimson with rage. With a roar, he raised his massive, hammer-like fists and brought them crashing down toward Breaker.
The air itself rippled with force.
But Breaker didn't move.
Instead, he pressed the Upgrade Key on his belt.
"Power Mode—Activate!"
A pulse of orange light surged through his armor. His right fist glowed, metal heating with inner fire as energy circuits came alive.
In that instant, the entire alley lit up like dawn.
Then, their fists collided.
BOOM!
A shockwave blasted outward, tearing through the surroundings. The bar windows shattered, bottles exploded into glittering shards, and nearby soldiers were thrown off their feet.
Even Wren, who had been aiming her rifle nearby, had to brace herself, shielding her face from the wind.
Her voice trembled in awe.
"Such power… That must be the Upgrade Key in action."

Meanwhile, the Rhino Man staggered back, clutching his broken arm.
His bones had cracked from the inside out. He looked at Breaker as if seeing a ghost.
"W-what are you…?" he gasped.
Breaker didn't answer.
The Rhino Man's survival instincts kicked in. His fight was over. He turned and bolted, smashing through debris toward the exit.
But Breaker's voice followed him, cold and sharp.
"Running already? Did I say you could leave?"
He clasped both fists together, energy building in the core of his armor. The Vanderbuilt cannons along his arms began to charge, glowing a fierce white.
He pressed the trigger.
"Power Punch—Cannon Burst!"
Two glowing steel fists detached from his gauntlets, flying forward like twin rockets.
They struck the Rhino Man square in the back.
BOOM!
Fire erupted, painting the walls red. The Rhino Man crashed forward, his body skidding across the floor before lying still. His massive frame twitched once—then went limp.
From his chest, a burst of crimson energy shot out, swirling into the air like mist. It was absorbed instantly into Breaker's armor, transmitting back into Vanderbuilt's network grid for analysis.
Breaker exhaled, his armor releasing steam.
"Target neutralized. Mission complete."

But their victory celebration didn't last.
"Well, well… impressive. But do you know whose territory you've just entered?"
The voice was sharp and mocking.
From the shadowed corner of the room, a tall, slender woman stepped forward, her long green dress shimmering like scales. Her eyes gleamed with vertical pupils.
Wren instantly raised her weapon.
"Identify yourself."
The woman smiled, revealing sharp fangs.
"I am Madame Viper, leader of the Viper Syndicate. You've caused quite a mess in my little domain."
Breaker stepped forward, his armor still glowing faintly.
"We're not interested in gangs. Hand over the stolen tech, and no one gets hurt."
Madame Viper's smile widened. "You think you can order me around? You don't even know the kind of monster you've awakened."
Her body began to contort, bones cracking. Her legs fused together, transforming into a long, coiling serpent's tail. Her skin shimmered with emerald scales, and her tongue flickered with venom.
"Let's see if you can survive my venom."
With a hiss, she lunged, tail whipping through the air.
The nearby Modia Units—android soldiers from Vanderbuilt Technologies—opened fire, but she moved too fast, slithering between the gunfire like liquid shadow.
Her tail smashed through one of them, sending sparks flying, while her venom spit melted through another unit's armor.
Wren cursed, diving behind a pillar.
"Damn it, she's too fast! Breaker, long-range support!"
Breaker clenched his fist. "I've already used my cannon burst. It's recharging!"
Venom splashed across the ground, sizzling.
The air filled with the stench of burning metal.
Then, from the back of the room, a new voice called out.
"Looks like it's my turn!"
The woman stepping forward was Valkyrie—a field agent enhanced through Vanderbuilt's combat exosuit project. Her armor gleamed orange and silver, the symbol of Vanderbuilt Technologies glowing on her chest.
She flicked an Upgrade Key between her fingers and locked it into her gauntlet.
"Authorize!"
Her armor pulsed, the circuits activating.
"Kamen Rider Valkyrie—Transformation Sequence, Engage!"
The room filled with a spinning halo of energy. Bullets whirled around her, forming a circle of light before exploding outward like a fiery blossom.
When the smoke cleared, Valkyrie stood in full battle mode, her spear humming with energy.
Madame Viper hissed, her tail tightening. "Another toy soldier? Let's see you bleed!"
Valkyrie twirled her spear with one hand, a confident grin spreading across her face.
"Bring it on."
The two women clashed. Sparks flew as spear met tail, energy blasts illuminating the dark bar.
Every movement was a blur—venom shots, spear thrusts, and sharp dodges.
Breaker watched closely, his armor's systems recalibrating.
He knew Valkyrie was buying time until his Power Punch Cannon recharged.
Finally, Valkyrie saw an opening. With a sharp spin, she slashed across Madame Viper's chest, sending scales flying.
"Got you!"
Madame Viper roared in pain, tail slamming the ground in fury. The building shook, cracks spreading through the floor.
But before she could strike again, Breaker's armor flared back to life.
He raised his gauntlets and yelled,
"Valkyrie! Move!"
Valkyrie leaped aside just as Breaker unleashed his twin cannons again.
A blazing beam of energy shot across the room, engulfing Madame Viper.
The explosion was deafening.
When the smoke cleared, the only thing left was a scorch mark on the floor—and the faint hiss of escaping gas.
Breaker's shoulders relaxed. Valkyrie straightened her stance, panting lightly.
"That was… intense," she said with a smile.
Breaker nodded. "She won't stay gone for long. Someone like that always comes back."
Wren lowered her weapon, walking forward.
"Then we'll be ready next time. Vanderbuilt will get its data—and we'll stop whatever Project Malice they're planning."
Breaker looked toward the exit, where the faint trail of smoke rose from the destroyed wall.
He clenched his fist.
"Let them come. This time, we fight back."
