Mike didn't respond immediately.
He looked at the broken figure before him, remembering what he'd learned about the dungeons of the Origin World—how the dungeon was a cage, how those sealed inside were the worst of the worst, beings so dangerous that the Origin World had cast them away to rot forever.
Some were monsters.
Some were tyrants.
Some had once been kings.
And none of them were innocent.
It was a prison created by the Will of the Origin itself—a place meant to eternally torment those deemed too dangerous to exist freely.
